Maytee tells 911 Johnny is cold and stiff to the touch. That means they would've been dead closer to 11pm. And that means the intruders came right in and let the killing begin...

I think it's vital to know whether or not the bags came from the Straub residence or were brought in. If they were brought in it is VITAL to know what kind of bags they were, i.e. clear, grocery, garbage sized, etc., in order to try to figure out what the intentions for the bags were.

I think LC's point is that it doesn't matter why this happened, it doesn't matter who did it or how, the DNA and crime scene evidence will be the proof for the convicitions. Correct?

I was reading on one of the other sites the other day, posted by someone like Unknown or Grieving Friend - someone with intimate knowledge of information - that the bags and tape were from Bed Bath & Beyond, and implied that they were brought to the house.

Wish I could find that comment, because I do remember something about it. I thought it was here, though. I thought they 'said' the tape & bags were IN a BB&B bag. Do we know for sure that the family stated these weren't things that belonged to the Straub's?

i'm pretty sure the bb&b thing came from '''unknown" i think she posted it here somewhere, but i'm not gonna look lol

THere is alot of hunting done in the Lucas and Wood Counties. Dads and Uncles
take their sons, friends, nephews hunting. If one of them gets shot in the
hunt, it is certainly not the fault of the parents, but the parents did indeed
put the young hunters into that situation. Or even perhaps set up land to
be hunted. thought hunters had left, but alas, the youth were in the vicinity
early and got caught in some gun exchange. Yes the parents would be victims.
Surely. They would be somewhat responsible if the parents had scoped out the territory and miscalculated when who would be where. Just a thought. Makes one really sick, panicky, paranoid, angry, bitter throwing blame.

Anyone find info on who was arrested during the 3 day sweep?

I tried plugging some names into the website below to see if any of the people mentioned had been arrested. I noticed there were several arrests for Willams, but did not recognize the names and will not post them. I did a search, with just the last name (Williams), for the dates of 2/17/11- 2/20/11 and came up with several. Curious if anyone recognizes any of these. There were some drug trafficking, assault, riot, etc. included...

Hi 'stoof725'....I think what 'Wish.I.was.a.P.I' is suggesting is JC was away from the Straub house, that JC was at other friends while LS was at work, and the crime may have taken place earlier and the entire timeline moved up and I am adding this >>> JC goes from friends house and picks LS up at 10p, not 11p and brings her home earlier than expected so a simple burglary becomes a robbery and things deteriorate from there.

They had to have known they were safe, which means Tiffany was part of it. Tiffany says to the 911 dispatcher that she was on the phone with both of them but then Johnny hung up. Does that mean they were passing Lisa's cell phone back and forth talking to Tiffany?

Yes, I caught it. It was either a lie or they (J&S) were on the speaker.
