Same here, and becomming more and more curious about Z's role in it as well.

I'm with you guys (not sure about Z yet)...One thing I feel strongly about is TW is in up to her lying eyeballs in this murder. I'm sure she wasn't tough enough to put the bags over her frenemies heads but she sure played the bait & hook part really good...IMOSmiley_emoticons_smile

Curious: I just read the possible copy cat murder/robbery of the Texas robbery...so creepy...

I know I have changed my mind a thousand times about this case but after reading so many of the insightful posts...I'm about convinced that:

this was merely a robbery that escalated and got out of hand - by people Johnny thought were his friends....they didn't think J/L would be home at that time....it got ugly really quickly...Johnny so strong and trying to protect his girlfriend and her parents home that he felt responsible for...started shouting and defending ...Johnny probably while defending his turf and aghast at what these people were doing that he thought were his friends started shouting things about them that pisst them off and hence the murders ...

this could be my "final answer" until the arrests...

any thoughts out there?

None other than I pretty much agree with you. I don't think anyone was supposed to die that night. I think things simply got out of control, that whatever plan they had fell apart & things escalated from there. I've never thought this was a professional hit, I think J & L knew their killers.

Let's be real...if this had happened to one of our children it would hurt to read all of our theories on here (a hit because he owed $, was a drug dealer, a snitch, etc.)...I have a feeling Maytee knows from the LE that this was a robbery gone bad...those poor precious kids just happened to be home when the people who pretended to be his friends - were probably there the night before when the neighbors said there was a party and casing out the place...

Yes, it would but common sense would tell us to stay the hell away.

We don't control what others do, Maytee has the option of not reading and/or telling people she's not interested in knowing what's being said. She's an adult who has free will, if it's truly so upsetting, don't read, it's as simple as that.

Personally, I think she enjoys the attention. She returns day after day to read & then proceeds to respond to what she reads. When it comes to the internet, I don't go places I'm not interested in, no one makes me do anything I don't want to do online, I'm in control & so is everyone else who sits in front of their monitor or smartphone.

just wanted to repost this. no one really responded to it, but i thought that it was one of the best posts that i have seen here in awhile, and i agree whole-heartedely. sometimes a lot of you on here get wrapped up in the moment of the posts and forget about the point of this whole thread. i have refrained from posting for the most part because, although connected, i am far removed from this case. i have to say that it is a shame to see a number of posters (that i have come to respect after following this all along) sink to the level of those that they condemn by "fighting fire with fire". if you are against fighting with fire, then why fight against fire with the same thing? anyways, i'm bloody going on like a plonker (see this is why i have refrained from posting). i hope i haven't ruined my initial point that wolfhouse had a great post here and that i think we should stick to the initial point of this whole thread and strive to be a positive factor in this whole tragic mess and respect all of those effected, no matter how unfortunate their coping mechanisms may be.

If Tiff was involved, I think Z was there too, and Tiff was using his phone that night so I assume they were together. I could kind of understand someone young like him panicking and using plastic bags when things got out of hand, but he still would have needed someone bigger, stronger, tougher, to subdue them. I also remember what (Unknown, I think?) said earlier about Z suffering from withdrawal that day, and considering his age and condition I could see him being there as an extra if he was told he'd be paid for it (money/drugs).

Z also provided the car as well as a phone.

Up until just recently, I felt it was more of a statement killing resulting from owing someone a lot of money from a drug deal gone bad and it wasn't done by anyone that's been discussed here.

Now I'm beginning to think differently and leaning more toward your theory...and not b/c of FB which only gives me a headache, but rather by simply following this thread and a little deductive reasoning.

Let me ask this, if it was unplanned, were the items used already in the home or brought in by the perps? If brought in by perps and it was unplanned, did they happen to have in their vehicle, or just leave and go by them? This part I'm struggling with...
