The Straub's could have called their Local Police Department & asked the Police to check their home on their rounds once a day while they were gone - the Police are our friends and they will keep a bit of a closer eye on things when we leave. It would be good to know if any of the neighbours knew on either side of them they'd be gone? Did the Straub's ask anyone they trusted family or friend to double check Johnny and Lisa even when they were gone? I'm not so damn sure if I'd leave a couple of party people in my home for that long, they had to know these kids liked to party - just think through it and someone over doses in your home while your gone or drinks way to much under age yet - your in big trouble! Who else possibly knew? Any one agree? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Sonny223, Maytee said on facebook awhile back that she had TW drive John Sr over there that way she would have TW cornered, also they had an EMS out to her home so she couldn't go right away. No idea who reported a white van around the Straub home region.

This is why i think that guns weren't used to kill them and the bags were instead. I think that if the person(s) that did this were checking out the house prior and knew that the straub's were gone out of town on the cruise, most parents let some "close" neighbors know and ask them to keep an eye on things. If those "close" neighbors then heard what may have sounded like a gunshot coming from anywhere in that area that would have alerted someone to call authorities or look around outside, limiting the time for the killer(s) to get away regardless of if the intent to kill johnny and lisa was planned or not.
