LC just curious I know that polygraphs are not admissable in court, however, I am interested to know how you feel about the results of them. Do you feel the results are what they are (as in TW told the truth) or do you think that there are good reasons for it not being allowed in court?

TW told the truth in her test.. do we know if that is the same infomation that has been told to all of the public? That has not been determined yet, just that she did not lie right?

they are a good investigative tool depending on the polygrapher and how good he/she is. they help to rule out people from involvement. or not. BUT they are subject to many variables. from drugs to sociopathy.

often a criminal defense attny. will give the accused client a test, and if it is not deceptive, will shout it from the rooftops.
LE often does not give out results, and certainly not specifics such as questions "passed or failed".
in fact the criteria is really "deceptive" or not, rather than "passed/failed".

because of all the variables they are not admissible as evidence in court, as you mentioned.

while i would not go into specifics of any one person, Tiffany's poly was administered by law enforcement.
i posted that information to be fair to her since she has taken a beating here.

I am trying to reserve any comments that I might have until I have read the ENTIRE thread. With my default set at 100 posts per page, I am now on page 22 of the first thread. This is one of the most intriguing threads that I have read in a very, very long time. Thankfully, I am off work this week, so I will have plenty of reading time. I just hope I can remember some of the things that I have been wanting to say.

One comment that I will make now, regarding police escorts for funerals, is that here in Detroit, no matter how long the funeral procession is, unless it is a police/fire person, if you want a police escort, you have to pay for the services of the police dept. I have been in two fender benders on the cemetary ride, because of long processions and cars that have ran into the line. It can be a mess sometimes! I found it interesting to read that in some places having a police escort for the processions appears to be a community service.

Okay, back to reading. Smiley_emoticons_stumm

The way I understand TW, AG & Mr. Z all passed poly tests!! Tiffany didn't have a car - she had to borrow a car and went to find out why Johnny and Lisa would not answer the phone since Johnny didn't call her back, she got no answer at the Straub's so she tried to get a hold of Johnny's father and mother - she could have called the Police but, they cannot break in - I think Tiffany did the SMART thing by letting Johnny's father handle this matter.

I wish her well with the newborn baby!
