we were never cruel here either. we did however tell the TRUTH. i was always understanding. until she started wishing death on us, blah blah. and claiming "we" email her kids. she's a filthy liar, she knows what went down, she hindered the case. my sympathy, any kindness i may have felt are gone. she is psychotic. plain and simple.

Personally, I find it cruel that her supporters and those in her inner circle apparently haven't addressed her frightening behavior with her. Enabling. I don't have anything personal against her and I hope justice is found for her son, his girlfriend and their families. But, there are big red flags waving throughout Mrs. Clarke's increasingly belligerent statements and posts. She has gone off the rails, period.

If what she says about how she is treating her husband and children is true (and considering the paranoid delusions she's been posting publicly regarding people she's never met), she most certainly needs professional help, be it voluntary or forced. I hope someone close to her cares enough to be truthful with her and intervenes.

I could NEVER forgive her, but I DO want Justice for these two kids.

It was a very heinous crime. I still don't see how ANYONE could do these type of things to others.

I sure HOPE they find the killer/killer's soon.

I can not imagine waking up everyday wondering if LE has found the killer/killer's.

I will follow this case until justice is served. This one and may others. Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

Of course it is still about a mother's grief...yes, twisted as hers might be...there is no statute of limitations on a mother's grief.

However, JSmom appears to be mentally healthy enough to not let it take away from her life, or to give Maytee's words any power...

I'm sorry you had a murdered family member...how horrible. I'm glad you've handled your situation with such dignity. But everyone's different and she should be pitied and left alone. I hope it wasn't your child who was murdered which to me would be the worst pain in the world - and then to realize they were not only murdered but tortured before their death.

And then to know deep down inside - it could have been because of (inadvertently) telling the wrong person (in her apparently seedy world) that Lisa's parents were out of town that the whole thing happened. She has to live with the guilt of wondering...and as I tell my children "just disengage". Let's get back to discussing the case and hoping for an arrest soon.

Maytee's problem is that she is making this about her and not about Johnny and Lisa. I would bet people have tried to help her move past her grieve. It just appears as if she DOESN'T WANT to move past her grief. This has become her new identity. The problem is she has taken the focus off the case and placed it on her.I think most of us agree we feel very little for Maytee. But we have to remember this is not about her. It is about finding out who is responsible for this crime. Forget about Maytee.....ignore Maytee.... move past Maytee. She just isn't worth the aggravation.

I think the case is what is important.

It’s one thing to take interest in a case so publicized as this one from the beginning and discuss it. Or to gather information surrounding the case and present it to the forum.

It’s another to have absolutely have no involvement at any level, and get yourself inserted into the lives of the people that this has affected.

JsMom, I understand as a mother suffering from losing a child or knowing the steps of that grief process, that you wanted to reach out to another mother. But you got way too involved. Until it was too late to realize what kind of trash you were dealing with. On some level I empathize with the attacks upon you, but at the same moment. This would be a much more productive use of your counselling acumen. Our responses to Maytee are the "effect" of ongoing baseless accusations and irrational rants. Why don't you address the "cause", a much smarter approach, imo. Have you in fact reached out to Maytee via her Facebook page or email to inform her that you find her comments inappropriate and antagonizing ("bringing gasoline to the fire")? Have you communicated to her, kindly and with empathy, that you believe she needs counselling/help?

If not, I don't understand why not. You can communicate to her electronically just as you can impose your compassionate wisdom to Mock Members via post on this public forum. I would argue that it is in Maytee's best interest to hear loudly and clearly just how unwell she really is and how out of control she has become.

Whether her psychosis is a product of grief, a personality disorder, substances...is irrelevant, it's real and appears to be escalating. Perhaps someone has intervened in the last day and a half; I hope so. Perhaps you can focus on being part of the solution rather than counselling others to ignore the problem. Rational, yes?

However, on a happy note, I do see some progress.

In the beginning, Maytee's statements about her loss seemed more like a woman who lost a lover versus a mother losing a child. She never mentioned the loss of Lisa.

Finally, Lisa is now mentioned . . . and Maytee is STILL geting in Johnny's pants.

For some reason, I could not get Mock to open up for me yesterday and early this AM. I went into withdrawal! I have been following this case because I knew about it before it hit the news. I didn't join Mock then. I didn't even know that Mock existed. I want to say that I have alot of admiration for LC. She runs a tight ship here. I for one, would not be surprised about who her contacts are and what she knows! I pray daily that this will be solved soon.
