I just drove by Lisa's uncle Jim's house...he just held a press conference with every news station in Toledo. It was awesome to see so many news vehicles on one small street in Rossford. I feel such sadness for this family, they have been in such pain and now some sense of closure is finally upon them. Lisa's family are just wonderful, kind people and while they have suffered grief like Maytee, I respect and commend the dignity they have maintained throughout this nightmare unlike Maytee. She owes Lisa's family a huge apology for the things she's said about them and Lisa. It is a struggle for me to feel empathy or sympathy for her....I hope she gets some therapy and focuses on her two little boys, I worry about them.

Not that this matters much because I have FB "friends" that I haven't seen since Junior High, these connections could be just as random, BUT just for discussion sake, Samuel Williams has at least 3 mutual friends with AG & TW.

So, of course most of his Ex wifes friends and possibly even her, think he is NOT guilty.. One guy even wrote " he aint do that shit" someone else wrote " i love how they through his past shit in there to make him look worse" these are not direct qoutes but are shortened for what was actually written... There are also comments about how police are picking on someone who is innocent.. Its a shame, his criminal record speaks for itself.. I dont care if he did it or not, hes still a shitty ass person because of the things he has done, you can not sit here and say this man is good after you see his record and the things he has done, yes its a possibilty to be wrongfully accused at one point, but this dudes rap sheet is a fucking mile long, you can't be innocent of everything you dumb fucks!!

I caught the very end of it on WTOL news . Waiting for a link from them . I was watching Maytee on 13 abc thinking that after her , Lisa's uncle would be on . After watching that , my husband said he refuses to watch anything with Maytee again . He can not stand watching what he calls " fake crying " .

It took more than 7 months but a suspect is jailed in a brutal double murder in Springfield Township. The bodies of John Clarke, 21 and Lisa Straub, 20 were found in Straub's parents home on January 31st. Her parents were on a cruise at the time. Investigators believe Clarke and Straub were killed during a robbery. Their hands were bound with tape and plastic bags were found over their heads.

As you can imagine, this has been an emotional day for the families of both victims. Family members are dealing with a flood of emotions but they're doing the best they can. They say they're relieved someone has finally been arrested but they definitely don't consider themselves happy.

Even though an arrest has been made, Lisa Straub's family says this is only the beginning. They believe the way the couple was found: duct taped with bags over their heads, could not have been the work of one person. "The suspect that's been arrested did not act alone. This person could not have murdered two people." said family member James Verbosky.

Straubs uncle says the murders were not random. That night Straub had planned to hang out with friends. "They were supposed to come over and shoot some pool when Lisa got off work at T.G.I. Friday's and motives and other things transpired that night that nobody will probably ever know except those responsible." said Verbosky.

The Straub family has $20,000 ready to hand over to anyone who comes forward with information that leads to another arrest. They also have a personal request for the prosecutor. "That you impose the death penalty to the suspect that strangled Johnny and Lisa to death. While they were gasping for their last breath with his arms around their necks they were not given a chance to make a plea deal." said Verbosky.

The suspect, Samuel Williams has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated burglary in this case. Police have not released what led them to Williams. The arrest comes as good news to neighbors, especially to those who know the family. Sherinda Key says, "It makes me feel at ease. I've got an alarm but that ain't going to help you if someone wants to get in they're gonna get in. I'm just a neighbor but whatever he's got coming for him he deserves it."

i too have a hard time believing he acted alone. large as that guy may be, johnny was good sized and lisa wasn't a tiny girl...i can't imagine them not fighting back even if caught off gaurd, and she comes downstairs after hearing commotion. i remember something about blood being on the side of lisa's head but not too much more about any defensive wounds on either of them.

In court for the appearance of Samuel Williams, 24. He’s charged with two counts of murder, two counts of aggravated robbery in the deaths of Lisa Straub, 20, and Johnny Clarke, 21. Clarke’s mother was in tears during the video arraignment. Williams has requested and attorney and said he “hasn’t even talked to his mom yet.”

I think it was more than just this guy as well. BUT I could see him acting alone and being successful if he had a gun??

By the last news post here, it seems they were choked to death. I think he put the bags on them so he didn't have to see their faces.
