I find it odd that she didn't try and defend him. Usually mother's at least try and say they are innocent, even if they know of the trouble their kid may have been capable of causing.

I never knew her. But I'm very close with Johnny's entire family I do know that johnny did NOT introduce her 2 drugs. I shall not judge, but the police records do say, that his mother was into stuff, and the police records, do NOT say that her (Lisa's) parents were at all. I am sorry, but as parents we do set examples for our children. I will be the first to say that my own mother was a meth addict, and we suffered the casualties of her choices. Most of us made better choices in our lives, yet my younger brother did get hooked up on Crack, and died just a few years ago from over dose on this drug.
The rest of us are alive and well not because of her, but in spite of her! she will have to wonder for the rest of her life if her bad choices influenced her son and put him in an early grave, the rest of us, do not wonder at all.
There is no doubt in my mind my brother could of walked that path on his own, and yet, there is also no doubt in my mind, that my mother did not help deter it. nor discourage it by her own examples. After all, we do inspire by example, so tread carefully!

So, if you were to die horribly, at the hands of brutal thugs, who did not know your parents, would it be appropriate to blame your Mother? How about comparing your Mother to your spouse's Mother in an effort to place blame? Don't you think it makes more sense to rightly focus on the THUGS WHO COMMITTED THE CRIME?

Nor, should we assume that those who are absent from court proceedings and silent about the case, are loving and devoted. Regardless, if people are going to verbally shit on the one family, who is in the court room, I think it's worth noting that they were reportedly, the only family present.

I'd be more interested to know if Pettaway had any family present. Or Williams. And now that these two are known, it looks more like a robbery gone bad rather than any sort of retaliation. But you never know. Could be a bit of both. But one thing is for damn sure, Johnny was selling drugs out of the Straub's home.

i happen to KNOW the Straubs are loving and devoted. they avoid the courtroom 2-minute video arraignments so as to avoid that nutjob maytee. maytee has shit all over them in public on facebook for not being there. and has been told to STFU. the Straubs are, shall we say, leery of that loon. they aren't on the 'net and want to be left quietly alone in their own dignified manner. they are not screeching attention whores. maytee had no right to chastise them for their choice to attend or not attend. it's not a trial yet. nor does she have the right to "speak for Lisa".
