60 million dollars to get married, 30 million dollars of it from the pockets of the slaves of the socialist republic of the UK.

You know, I can't help but wonder how long it will take this couple to become productive enough for the people to regain their investment?

I would figure that the younger brother will be a bit put off when the happy couple have a son, you know the future king of england.

why the fuck are male newscasters all 'a twitter' with this fluffy bullshit? It must really suck for them being ordered to deal with this as though they were Tim Gunn....

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - Duchess - 04-25-2011

I sometimes tune in to the Today show & I swear I see Matt Lauer visibly cringe when he is forced to speak about it.

I saw that the E! channel will start at 4am. I'm not sure what time everything starts though.

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - Duchess - 04-25-2011

Other than the wedding, exactly what is everyone expected to see?

I wouldn't be bored with seeing the behind the scenes stuff, that's always way more interesting than what the public is allowed to see.

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - Luke Warmwater - 04-25-2011

count me as one of the non-billion viewers...I have more important things to do like changing the oil in my car or taking a dump...or both.

you're going to see a shitload of fugly hats...

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - Duchess - 04-25-2011

I don't even know when it is, only that it's upcoming. That's not really my scene.

It must suck to live your life in a fish bowl.

32 of the 60 million is being spent on security. What a huge spectacle and colossal waste of money. I bet if the happy couple had their way, they would have just eloped.

I don't see Harry as giving a shit about being King. He's a rebel.

jesus fucking christ...why do you insist on bastardizing the facts I brought to this topic several weeks ago? No fucking countires sent their pilots to help Britain. These gung-ho mercenaries showed up and volunteered to fight the fight for their own personal reasons. The same type of volunteers showed up once the U.S. had air squadrons in europe...they were also accepted to participate in U.S. led attacks. Why turn away experienced killers with blood-lust? Britain won the battle on their own no matter how much you want to continue and twist it. For fucks sake, are you trying to obtain a job as a fauxsnooze story line writer?

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - IMaDick - 04-26-2011

Luke I guess you should take a look at the official records of those who fought and those who were lost in the battle, they are listed by country it should be real easy for you to figure out, hell they are even in alphabetical order.

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - Lady Cop - 04-26-2011

about the beautiful horses~~

William and Kate's first journey as husband and wife will be escorted by nine of the coolest heads the Metropolitan Police has to offer - the force's famous grey horses.

But while the matter of invites has long been settled for human guests at the wedding, the animals of the Met's Grey Escort are still waiting to learn if they will have the honour of accompanying the royal couple's carriage.

The force has selected 11 horses with the calmest temperaments to escort the royal carriage from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace after the wedding but only nine will actually step onto the Mall on the big day.

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - IMaDick - 04-26-2011

Interestingly enough, none of them are listed as mercenary volunteers.

It seems that the actual historical account differs from the view given by the resident liberal fools.

Quote: Luke wrote: These gung-ho mercenaries showed up and volunteered

This is very telling since mercenaries by definition are professional soldiers who are paid for their involvement.

anyone care to give the definition of Volunteers?

Using both in the same sentence in reference to the same people is moronic, they are polar opposites.

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - IMaDick - 04-26-2011

I will watch the wedding, it will be like the english version of the hills have eyes.

RE: The Royals & The Wedding - IMaDick - 04-26-2011

Middleton is not a royal, it seems like you would have already known this Opie, you live in the guest apartment of your parents home in the UK, right?

How does your wife feel about freeloading off your parents, is she good with that?
