(CNN) -- A landlord wants the Ohio Civil Rights Commission on Thursday to reconsider its finding that she violated the law by posting a "white only" sign at her swimming pool.
Jamie Hein did not respond to a request for comment at the time. But she told ABC News in December that she collects antiques. She said the sign, which was dated 1931 and from Alabama, was a gift from a friend.
"I don't have any problem with race at all. It's a historical sign," she told ABC.

It's still her pool.
She can deny the use of the pool or allow the use of the pool to whomever she wants to.
If it was mine I would move the sign, or make a new one that says no whites allowed in the pool.
It would be interesting to know if such a sign would be considered racial.

It's all the same you are charged for the use, use can be denied, you can be tossed after paying to use the pool.

Is this the same landlord that a while back said they hung the sign b/c a black girl in the pool had chemicals in her hair that did something to the water and the filters? Or is this another landlord in Ohio?

She fucked up. You could require that people shower before using the pool or have a rule that states "no hair products that are going to fuck up the water" but you can't say "whites only". She's violating housing discrimination laws.

I say if she wanted a cute sign for her pool, then put up one of those stupid Don't Pee in My Pool signs or something. To me, she knew when she put it up EXACTLY the reaction she would get.
I was at work when I saw this yesterday..showed it to a black co-worker, and her response was "You know, I cannot even get mad about it, nothing surprises or shocks me any more"
