I take it you're bored too? RE: what's for dinner? - OnBendedKnee - 09-07-2012 I suppose. But, getting past that. . . Homemade or store-bought? RE: what's for dinner? - OnBendedKnee - 09-08-2012 I'd give that complete homemade. No one expects you to grind your own seasoning. Sounds delightful! Nothing like homemade stew with all the fixings. RE: what's for dinner? - Riotgear - 09-08-2012 My assistant read the above post to me right as I was grinding my own seasonings. RE: what's for dinner? - cladking - 09-08-2012 If I don't cook the bacon it won't be any good and the tomatoes are spoiling. It should be BLT's. RE: what's for dinner? - Riotgear - 09-08-2012 A proper BLT is arguably the best food in the world. RE: what's for dinner? - Riotgear - 09-08-2012 Today's dinner will be tacos made by children. RE: what's for dinner? - Clang McFly - 09-08-2012 chicken, mac and cheese, and peas. RE: what's for dinner? - Duchess - 09-26-2012 I haven't eaten yet but I am fantasizing...food porn! Lasagna, mmmm, warm crunchy garlic bread (extra garlic. Hey MF!), garden salad. In my fantasy there is a chocolate lava cake too. RE: what's for dinner? - Jimbone - 09-26-2012 I've been on a chili kick... made some last week and this week. I make it with ground chicken or turkey, and it's still awesome. I tend to make mine pretty spicy... the hotter the better. One of the best part of fall is enjoying hot chili on cool evenings. Delicious! RE: what's for dinner? - Teacher - 09-26-2012 Your fantasy has become my reality. Just finished making lasagna - in the oven now. The only thing incomplete is a chocolate lava cake - too rich for my taste. I'm so glad I didn't have access to one! RE: what's for dinner? - Teacher - 09-26-2012 Making chili tomorrow, Jim. We're having an annual festival in my town and we are expecting my husband's relatives from NJ, NH, and NC tomorrow. 5 days and 4 nights of total bliss (cough, yuck, cough). (Calgon, take me away.) BTW, you have made some very touching posts to LC. I know she appreciates them. RE: what's for dinner? - sally - 09-26-2012 Homemade flat bread topped with alfredo, spinach, tomatoes, fresh garlic and mozzerella with a salad on the side. RE: what's for dinner? - Teacher - 09-26-2012 My brain cells are disappearing faster with each passing day. This is the second time (that I know of) that I have mixed up two posters. I just reread LC's Cancer Support thread and you did make a good post Jim. However, it is Carsman who has made so many sweet, thoughtful posts. Sorry for the mix-up. There are many things I might do, but taking credit for someone else's compassion isn't one of them. |
