RE: what's for dinner? - Duchess - 05-12-2017 (05-11-2017, 09:34 PM)Clang McFly Wrote: He also said to me that we need to somehow force him to talk to his former employers and pick up his last check so he can stop pretending he still has a job despite not working at his McJob since March. One way to force him might be to stop giving him money. I'd be so panicked if I didn't have my own money. RE: what's for dinner? - Midwest Spy - 05-12-2017 When we were in Kauai, we went to the farmers market in Hanalei. I was hoping to see Harrison Ford or Julia Roberts. Nope. However, my wife and her sister bought a ton of great stuff. Great value there. I don't give him money. He has my Dad's card for "emergencies". I've told Dad he needs to cancel the card or have Ed give it back. It's not my card so I don't really want to get in the middle of it. The other problem is he keeps winning money at the casino or breaks even. And he makes some money buying and selling his beer signs and glassware. RE: what's for dinner? - Duchess - 06-25-2017 I made shells stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella & parmesan for dinner tonight and I bought a big loaf of crusty garlic bread. Ta Da. Now the rest of the day is mine. Where can I find some trouble? RE: what's for dinner? - sally - 08-07-2017 Bacon cheeseburgers on the grill. They be dank yo. That's what my son said about them anyway. Silly ass kid. There was a college kid in NYC who turned his dorm room into a version of a 5 star restaurant and I've heard him repeatedly use that word when he was really happy with what he had cooked up. RE: what's for dinner? - Maggot - 08-11-2017 Last night it was Chinese sausage and grill zucchini with cole slaw. RE: what's for dinner? - sally - 08-11-2017 Chinese sausage? Since when did you get so fancy? You didn't even know what a scallion was until recently. RE: what's for dinner? - Carsman - 08-11-2017 f Last week he didn't know how to spell intellect, now he said he are one! RE: what's for dinner? - Love Child - 08-11-2017 WTF is Chinese Sausage? /she asked without looking it up, but recalling maybe some sausage in a chinese dish once..... Tonight is Salmon with some sort of vegetables which come from the garden right down the road, they are delicious. RE: what's for dinner? - Duchess - 08-11-2017 I always associate fish on Fridays with my Catholic upbringing. Is it salmon that you caught there, Love Child? RE: what's for dinner? - Love Child - 08-11-2017 No, the Salmon is from Alaska. I don't mind Salmon night, but really I want a big piece and the servings are small. RE: what's for dinner? - BigMark - 08-11-2017 I heard sum yung ho was in town. LOL Get it, see what i did there? Also I don't think I should just google "Chinese sausage" either. The salmon was pretty great, I only had 1 piece but I loaded up on the brown rice and veggies which were awesome. So I didn't have to do an Oliver Twist. |
