Our local park has a great fire work display. There is a fair and bands play. It's an all day event. Last year we went to the high school parking lot to watch the fire works. We had a great view and didn't have to deal with the crowds or traffic to go home. I am thinking of bringing my brother if he wants to go. And the kids too.

There's a big huge party I go to every year where they put on their own fireworks display that rivals a professional one. I'm not sure I'm going this year, I've got a lot of family stuff going on.

I'm off for 5 days.

I have a couple of days of metal detecting planned.

Hopefully the plate in your head wont interfere with the detector.

RE: *4th of July!* - Jimbone - 06-28-2012

Sorry, but after my country just lurched towards socialism again I don't feel much like celebrating.

She asked what you will be doing for the 4th of July, not what you'll be doing for the next 5 days with your stupid metal detector. Would it be so hard just to answer the fucking question?

Good one Sally, take Duchess by the hand and help her along will ya, she is having problems with her dickness today.

That is what I will be doing for the forth, even though where I'm going I should be able to see the fireworks if I want to.

Have you ever watched fireworks from above them?

RE: *4th of July!* - Ma Huang Sor - 06-28-2012

Yeah I did at Logan, flying in in a cessna from southern VT as a teen. Fucking outrageous.

RE: *4th of July!* - ramseycat - 06-28-2012

I've never seen fireworks from above but it sounds cool. I have seen the display on the Detroit River from a suite in the Renaissance Center years ago and it was awsome. We watch the display on Lake George from the boat sometimes. Usually when the 4th falls on a weekend or I have the next day off. It's really beautiful watching the fireworks reflected in the lake.

Going to Price Chopper's 4th of July celebration at the Empire State plaza. Music, fireworks, chance to win pizes, stunt bikes, and skyriders(trampoline tricks). Bring my own grilled meats and salads as the food vendor prices are insane.

RE: *4th of July!* - ramseycat - 06-28-2012

Empire State Plaza?

So what do you do for fun?

RE: *4th of July!* - thekid65 - 06-29-2012

Driving up to Bonney Lake, Wa on the 4th to meet a friend, play some golf, and have a fun 4th. We've played fantasy baseball, and fantasy football online in the same league(s) for probably 10 years or so. Should be a blast as he says his cul-de-sac neighbors have a big BBQ, and a good time lighting off fireworks. I'm coming prepared

You mean the metal plate that makes him piss his pants and forget his name for a half-hour every time he's near a power line?
