I hated beets when I was a kid, but my taste for them strangely changed. What tasted like dirt, now tastes like earthy delicious goodness.

Beets are delicious roasted, and in borscht with a dollop of sour cream preferrably slurped while wearing a beanie. They are also an important ingredient in V8.

Matzo meal is dry and bland, but I love pickled herring. Haven't had it in years though. Mom used to buy it at the supermarket for just her and me. Noone else in the family likes pickled herring.

Pickled Herring and Creamed Herring are both pretty tasty, but I also like most kinds of sardines, smoked oysters and Kipper Snacks, as long as there are no beets

Each morning starts with a smoothie made with raw kale, banana, strawberries, and flaxseed. It's the best thing I do for myself but without the other ingredients raw kale would be on my least favorite foods list.
