I'd hit you up for new or gently owned towels for donating to the local vet & I'd try to talk you out of lovingly used coats too for people that aren't as blessed as you are. Would you humor me and give me what I wanted or would you tell me to beat it?

Bah humbug. Coats and Towels for baked goods is a fair exchange. If I was greedy I would've demanded cash.

I'd have to tell you to beat it, only because my stuff is so old and I don't buy much for myself - so I don't have what you'd want.
However, I have a few friends who ride and I typically attend at least one of local Hells Angels Toys for Tots drives every year. We each donate $20 and a new toy; the HAs do an incredible job of helping out children in need each year (and the ones I know are some of the kindest most fun people to catch up with too, no matter how the media represents their charity efforts).

I do this every year. I'm kinda shameless in getting people to get up off stuff they will never miss. There is always a plethora of coats/jackets for children, I guess because they outgrow stuff so fast but I'm always scrambling for adult sizes.
