Pink and Lady Gaga are two of my most highly respected female pop singers ever. I'd kinda forgotten about that band til last night; the song's been stuck in my head since then.
I was at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento for a show; kinda surprised me that The English Beat was on the marquee for an upcoming gig.

So, I had a little time on my hands, and was reflecting back on my favorite decade of music, the 1980's.
Then, I wanted to find out which specific year was my favorite.
1987-1989 are the bottom 3rd, while 84-86 are in the middle.
That leaves 1980-1983. Good stuff in all those years, but for me, I think 1983 wins.
I then decided to make an alphabetical list of my favorites from that year that are in my music library. I fudged a little with Q and Z, and downright omitted X. Oh well.
