TERRORIST ATTACKS: PARIS, MALI, AND MORE
(12-20-2016, 01:53 PM)Maggot Wrote: Germany accepted a bunch of immigrants too. This is what they get for their goodwill. It's a really sad world out there.

If German police have the right guy in their sights now, they're gonna have a tough time explaining why a radical Tunisian who was denied asylum, was arrested three times, and was on several watch-lists hadn't been deported. His paperwork was found in the footwell of the lorry.

Commandos raided two addresses in Berlin's Kreuzberg neighbourhood, local media reported, as police continued a Europe-wide search for Tunisian national Anis Amri, who remains on the run more than 48 hours after the atrocity which claimed 12 lives.

German security services face difficult questions after it emerged that Amris, a lifelong criminal, should have been deported months ago.

The 23-year-old, who has a 100,000 euro reward on his head, was under close surveillance of German intelligence for several months following his arrival in the country last year.

I wonder if Angela Merkel has any real chance of getting elected to a 4th term next year?

Well, that ^ asshole is dead.

He managed to hijack a truck and mow down 12 people in Germany, travel through France, and then got killed in Milan, Italy when Italian police questioned him for acting suspiciously.

The two Italian officers didn't know who Amri was when he pulled a weapon on them. One officer was wounded before the other shot the terrorist to death.

It sucks the German police didn't get a chance to pluck his fingernails off.

Bravo to the Italians

I believe much of the anti immigration in the states stem from watching what's happening in Europe. It's quite the experiment they're running over there.

London Calling...

It's sad that these stories happen often enough that it's no longer shocking.

Today in London, on the anniversary of the massive terror attack in Belgium, 5 people were killed and an estimated 40 people were injured near the Parliament Building.

The 5 people include the assailant, who hasn't been named yet and who British authorities are investigating for possible ties to Islamic terrorism.

The one known suspect (now dead) used his vehicle as a weapon and mowed down several people on the Westminster Bridge before getting out of the vehicle and stabbing a police officer to death. The male suspect then ran towards the Parliament building where PM Theresa May had just conducted her weekly Q&A with parliament.

Most police officers in England don't carry firearms, nor do English citizens. However, the officers serving in London are typically armed. The suspect was quickly killed by one of them.

Londoners have been prepared for such an attack for several years and, for the most part reportedly, went about their normal business after the shelter-in-place commands were lifted. They don't want to give the assailant(s) the power of having put them in fear.

London Terror Attack Update

The suspected Islamist terrorist believed to have carried out the rampage outside Parliament that left three people dead was British-born and had been investigated by authorities, but wasn’t seen as “part of the current intelligence picture,” Prime Minister Theresa May said Thursday.

“Today we meet as normal, as generations have done before us and as future generations will continue to do, to deliver a simple message: We are not afraid and our resolve will never waver in the face of terrorism,” Mrs. May said. “And we meet here in the oldest of all parliaments because we know that democracy and the values it entails will always prevail.”

After saying late Wednesday that four people had been killed by the attacker—who rammed a vehicle into pedestrians and stabbed a police officer—police gave a lower death toll Thursday, saying three people, not including the attacker, had died. Twenty-nine people were in the hospital, seven of them in critical condition.

A Utah man visiting Europe was killed and his wife was seriously injured in the attack. Kurt Cochran and his wife, Melissa, were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, a family spokesman said. Melissa is currently in the hospital.

PM May said that in addition to 12 injured Britons admitted to the hospital, the victims of the attack included one American, three French children, two Romanians, four South Koreans, one German, one Pole, one Irish, one Chinese, one Italian and two Greeks.

British intelligence said they believe the attacker was a lone wolf radicalized from afar. Counterterror police raided six locations yesterday and arrested 8 people. It's unclear why they were arrested.

^ The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack during PM May's announcement. The group has often claimed responsibility for such attacks but the nature and scope of its involvement—or whether it was involved at all—remains unclear.

London Terrorist Background

[Image: 3E997EFE00000578-0-image-a-30_1490376112254.jpg]

The British Islamic terrorist who was shot dead after killing three people and wounding dozens of others was identified yesterday as 52-year-old Kahlid Masood. His birth name was Adrian Elms.

He worked as an English teacher and had two daughters, aged 19 and 24.

His former partner and mother of the girls is Jane Harvey (pictured above with Masood). She is the director of three companies, including a successful chemical company in the village of Bodiam, Kent. She is also the director of property management company and a business that deals with catering.

Ms Harvey left Elms/Masood many years ago, after six years together, due to his violent tendencies and his arrest for GHB. He accumulated other arrests for violent acts in later years.

Ms Harvey reportedly tried to stop him from converting his daughters to Islam, failing in that attempt with their oldest daughter and succeeding in that attempt with their youngest daughter.

The oldest daughter moved to Birmingham (a hotbed for Islamic extremism) with her father and wore a head-to-toe burka, while the younger girl remained with her mother who is not religious.

There is no indication that the older daughter or anyone in Elms'/Masoods' family was aware or involved in his deadly plot, though I'm sure LE in England is investigating all of his ties closely.

It happened again, another bombing!

MANCHESTER, England - A blast on Monday night at a concert in the northern English city of Manchester where U.S. singer Ariana Grande had been performing left an unknown number of people dead and injured, police said.

Police said they were responding to reports of an explosion and that there were a number of confirmed casualties and others injured.

It seems never ending!

Details still sketchy at this time.

Jumping off Carsman's post.......

At least 19 people have been killed and more than 50 injured in a suspected terror attack at Manchester Arena. The blast happened at 22:35 BST on Monday following a pop concert by the US singer Ariana Grande. RIP.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd said it was "a barbaric attack, deliberately targeting some of the most vulnerable in our society". Most of the concert attendees were teens.

In light of the attack the Conservatives, Labour, SNP and Liberal Democrats have all confirmed that Tuesday's campaigning in the general election has been suspended.

The prime minister has announced she will chair a meeting of the government's emergency Cobra committee at around 09:00 BST.

Unconfirmed reports from two unnamed US officials suggested the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber who died at the scene.

Though highly likely, it's too early in the investigation to say for certain if the motive was terrorism, whether the bomber was a lone wolf or a terrorist group operative, or which terrorist group was the inspiration (if any). No terrorist group has claimed credit thus far.

Manchester, England Bombing Update

--The death toll has risen to at least 22 people killed after explosions rang out at the end of an Ariana Grande gig in Manchester Arena.
--A teenage fan and an eight-year-old primary schoolgirl are among the dead, as well as a 26-year-old man.
--Video footage showed thousands fleeing in tears from the venue, many covered in blood, when gig ended.
--Police confirmed the suicide bomber, who was known to authorities, died at the venue after an improvised explosive device was detonated.
--Bomber has been named by US officials as Salman Abedi and is said to be a British citizen of Libyan origin.
--US security sources say he travelled to the arena by public transport. Another man, 23, has also been arrested.
--23-year-old singer Ariana Grande tweeted: 'Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don't have words.'

ISIS has reportedly claimed credit for the attack and called the suicide bomber one of its 'soldiers'.

President Trump expressed condolences to the people of England and called the attacker an 'evil loser'. I have no argument with him there.

This one has so many tentacles, I'm not sure where to post it. Since the suspect qualifies as a radical Islamic extremist and his victims were reportedly Neo-Nazi hate-mongers with a whole lot of bomb-making materials stored in their apartment..............this thread seems as good as any.

[Image: image-devon-arthurs-mugshot__272582_.jpg]
TAMPA — Devon Arthurs ^ is accused of shooting two of his three roommates in a Tampa Palms apartment. He told police he shared neo-Nazi beliefs with the men until he converted to Islam then killed them because they showed disrespect for his faith.

While investigating the homicides, officers found a garage stocked with bomb materials as they, leading to federal explosive charges against Brandon Russell — a Florida National Guardsman and admitted neo-Nazi who kept a framed photo of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh on his dresser.

Russell, 21, was the man Tampa police officers found crying outside his door Friday evening when murder suspect Devon Arthurs led them back to the apartment that the four had shared in an affluent suburb north of the University of South Florida. Russell, wearing camouflage, had just returned from National Guard duties.

While searching the garage, investigators found a cooler full of a white, cake-like explosive material known as HMTD, or hexamethylene tiperoxide diamine, according to a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court. Nearby, they found explosive precursors — chemicals that can be mixed to create explosives — including potassium chlorate, potassium nitrate, nitro methane and more than a pound of ammonium nitrate in a package addressed to Russell.

In Russell's bedroom, investigators discovered Nazi and white supremacist propaganda including a framed photo of Timothy McVeigh, who was convicted and executed for detonating an ammonium nitrate and nitromethane fertilizer truck bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995. The death toll from the blast was 168.

According to the complaint, Russell admitted to being a national socialist, manufacturing the HTMD and owning the precursors. He also admitted he is a member of a white supremacy group called the Atomwaffen, German for "atomic weapons."

Russell was arrested on a FBI warrant Sunday in Key Largo and charged with possessing an unregistered destructive device and unlawful storage of explosive material.

Arthurs told investigators that all four roommates shared neo-Nazi beliefs until he converted to Islam, according to the complaint.

"Arthurs stated that for some time before the murders, he had been privy to Russell participating in online neo-Nazi internet chat rooms where he threatened to kill people and bomb infrastructure."

Manchester, England -- Terrorist Attack Update

The father and brother of the ISIS suicide bomber (left) who killed 22 people at the Ariana Grande concert have been arrested in Libya. Three others have also been detained or arrested in connection with the attack.

The killer's sister reportedly claimed that the attack was in retaliation for the west's bombing in Syria and the children killed there.

The British government and intelligence agencies are pissed at the U.S. for leaking the name of the radical Islamic terrorist, Salman Abedi, without their authorization during the early stages of the investigation.

British Prime Minister Theresa May has raised the UK threat level to the highest possible rating, meaning another terrorist atrocity is expected imminently. Almost 1,000 troops have been deployed to key locations.

I'm reading about civilians being killed on an almost weekly basis now and not just in Syria. This is happening in Yemen & Iraq as well.

War has been declared on Western society by evil thugs.

It's time to do something about Muslim men of a certain age.

London and Europe in general will continue to see these atrocities carried out.

How many 8 year old girls have to be senselessly murdered before people stand up and say 'enough'?

Deport or jail ANYONE that is on the governments radar.

Hold them indefinitely.

If that seems extreme, tough.

I really don't know of any other solution other than to ban Muslim men from day age 16 to 40.

They are trying to take over Western society as we know it.

They kill in the name of a God that apparently says it's okay to slaughter non-believers.

This is not going away until extreme measures are taken.
