NFL 2017

Early on I was concerned about the Seahawks, but with Cam and Richard out for the season, I'm not as concerned. The toughest part of our schedule is behind us, but I'm not going to discuss SB. One game at a time. This week it's the bears.

Maggot, there are certain fan bases that are always waiting for the other shoe to drop.

My team is one of those.

It’s no longer fun to dream of what may come and then absorb a gut blow later on.

You and your team, of course, know not of what I speak. You live your days care free, and wonder how you’re going to wear six rings, how that will look a little funny.

So, I will remain guarded... and quiet... as I await the inevitable.

*starts the slow clap*
The Rams are looking tough this year and we have to travel to play them. And EVERY NFCE game scares the hell out of me because we just beat the hell out of each other every time we play. One game at a time.

This week’s NFL Power Rankings finally have it right (IMO).

1. Eagles
2. Patriots
3. Steelers
4. Vikings
5. Saints
6. Rams
7. Jaguars
8. Panthers
9. Falcons
10. Seahawks

I’m not as high on Jacksonville or Seattle, however, this is about as accurate as I’ve seen ESPN get for a given week.

Unfortunately, the NFC has 5 or 6 teams that could make a run in January while the AFC is down to 2 (with KC falling off).

My Vikes play 3 straight winning teams on the road coming up. Not liking it.

Lions have won 4 straight on Thanksgiving and have beaten us 3 straight overall.

I think the Chargers are going to beat Dallas on Thursday. My gut tells me your Vikes take the Lions and the NFCE battle for the gutter is a toss up.

Smart money on all 3 road teams?

Why not?

Skins have played 2 tough games in a row against quality opponents, and now they’ll lay an egg against a lesser squad.

Cowboys are a disaster with no LT and LB along with Zeke.

And, Minny is due to have a tight game with the Lions go our way for a change.

Funny thing about that... All my friends who are cowballs fans keep crying about the loss and blaming it all on just that. The Eagles lost Peters (LT) and Hicks (LB) and our depth at RB is just good planning for a deep playoff run. In this day and age in the league, you have to be able to plug and play. When a man goes down to injury, someone else steps up and get's the job done. Unless it's a QB, I can't buy the injured player excuse for losing anymore.

The filthyDallasCowboys were an even bigger disaster than the LA Chargers kicker. Can't believe they didn't replace him after the first missed extra point and missed field goal.

MS, I'm just now realizing that you & your team may present a problem for me & mine.

I’m telling you, this ride with Case Keenum May end at any time, but this guy has got moxie, smarts and talent.

He reminds me of, dare I say it, Aaron Rodgers with his elusiveness and accuracy on the run.

He doesn’t have ARodg’s arm strength, but he’s got the other stuff.

This has been unexpected fun!

I can't get over that Howie Long was a defensive end. I have that same thought every single time I see him.

Go Eagles!

You never saw him play? Dude was a BEAST!

Here's a fun fact: In November, the Eagles defense gave up one touchdown. Meanwhile the Cowballs suffered a complete meltdown in the same month. This is something cowballs fans haven't seen since Tony Romo started under center MONTHS ago. hahhahhah

I must have given I've been watching the NFL for so long but I have no memory of it and every time I see that pretty boy I just can't imagine him in the role of a defensive end.
