Annoying Celebrities

That is O.K. most athiests have no depth or perception beyond what they can see or hear at any given moment. Yes it is pity that I feel for them.

I usually have pity for Christians who assume to know the mind of God and have it all figured out. Most of them read on a 6th grade level, but they profess to understand whatever created this entire universe. How can that be?

I call bullshit.

I can't get behind a system of belief that would require me to kiss ass to receive special favors. If there is a God, I picture Him saying, "STFU and pay your own mortgage you lazy fucks. Why do you think I gave you hands?"

God says STFU.

I don't like people who run around saying they have all the answers and they know this for a fact and that. I do not do that. I don't think I have all the answers and know everything I don't think anyone does.

I also think God does tell us to roll up our sleeves and work definately. I think He can open doors for us and give us opportunities. I don't think you get to sick on the couch with the remote control and wait for the FedEx guy to arrive with your fortune. You have to go out and work. Definately yes. When I was at nursing school I felt like a slave sometimes, it was hard and horrible. But I had to do it. I got there in the end, but only with God's help.

Let it go.

Your beliefs are yours and yours, alone. They bring you comfort and peace. I never felt you were proselytizing or trying to convert the masses.

Display tolerance to the intolerant.

And maybe pray he doesn't get hemorrhoids from the time he spends in his reading room.

I am a Christian. I pray. I do not follow blindly. I question, I doubt. Sometimes I get angry. But I believe in God. I don't ask anyone to do the same. I don't make anyone listen to sermons. I just do what I can for when and where I am needed.

I also talk to myself, but only when the voices make me. Smiley_emoticons_wink

Do they talk in your ear? Whisper by slowly, out the corner of your eye? Do they sneak around without a sound in and out at the bottom of the stairs? Coming and going with a rustle and a snap, sometimes alone when you're taking a crap? Do they ring the bell at the front door, then are gone in an instant, now their under the floor? Do you lie awake sometimes deep in the night and listen for footsteps coming from the right?
Are you afraid to open the refridgerator door as you hear something scraping and your mate starts to snore? Well have no fear and don't take it wrong but maybe you should "step away from the bong" .

At least I think I saw it.

Back to annoying celebrities and I am obviously stuck on Charlie Sheen, but there is currently a show on E! featuring several interviews w/Charlie Sheen. He is nearing rock bottom, it is so sad. Addiction is a lifelong battle & this dude has a one way ticket on the crazy train at this point.

Not Winning Charlie, not winning!
It's the hint of arsenic that gives it that extra kick.

Okay psych grads, majors or therapy participants . . . help me out.

Is Sheen on a manic high or is this a Joaquin Phoenix stunt?

Frazier boxed-set owners . . . feel free to chime in, too.

This is not a Joaquin Phoenix stunt, the children are involved. Regarding a diagnosis I am not qualified to diagnose. If I was assessing him I would say there are signs of agitation. Chain smoking, Elevated speech, ie talking incessantly. Hostile towards perceived enemies, ie former workmates, colleagues. History of drug abuse, alcohol abuse. Hallucinations? There may be some brain damage.

Its up to a qualified specialist to diagnose. Does that help, I am a puzzled as everyone else. Don't forget too, I am still a student in this area, I am sure some of the seniors in my area would have some insight.

I feel badly for Matin Sheen. Watching your addicted son self-destruct in public has to be a nightmare.

While I am not a licensed clinical social worker, I will say that I believe there is a lot of mental illness going on w/Charlie Sheen. He absolutely has Narcissistic Personality Disorder i.e. "I'm tired of pretending I'm not special, ... tiger blood & Adonis DNA."
Secondly, I'd say he is Manic Depressive/Bipolar. We have definitely seen manic episodes from him, especially in his little homemade videos he has made as of late.

Bipolar is manageable by medication, however it can take a long time to find the appropriate balance of meds & w/Charlie Sheen convinced he has cured himself of drug addiction, I'm not sure he'd be willing to start any type of therapy.

I liked the good ole days when people were either just nuts or an asshole. Now there are all kinds of terms that come with medication, mediation and contemplation.

My concern is that Charlie is not getting enough sleep. Sleep deprivation can make one a bit wonkie.

That girls life has really turned into a train wreck, I take no pleasure in watching her emotionally drowning.

She used to be so beautiful with the potential to be a major star.
