I'm listening to the judge talk to the USA gymnastics Dr. who abused all those young girls. One of those girls tried to give herself a concussion so she wouldn't have to deal with him.

Woooo. 2100 months. She said she signed his death warrant in a sense.

I'm so glad the judge threw the book at Nassar. He deserves to die behind bars. And, he had a whole lot of enablers, some of whom have already been taken down and others who are no doubt shaking in their boots.

--All 21 members of USA Gymastics board were forced to resign.

--Michigan State University President Lou Anna Simon has resigned. She was one of at least 14 Michigan State University employees to have received reports of Nassar’s sexual misconduct going back to 1998 and did nothing about it.

--USA Gymnastics has cut ties with another of its longtime trainers, Debbie Van Horn, after Mattie Larson testified Van Horn was sometimes in the room while Nassar was sexually abusing her, and said nothing.

--USA Gymnastics has also cut ties with the Karolyis and “the Ranch.” They ran an elite gymnastics training camp where Nassar abused girls, who were in a remote location with no protection, for years on end.

The US Olympic Committee has said it will conduct an independent investigation into the USGA to find out how the abuse could have continued for so long, and to discover who knew what, when.

Michigan State, too, has said it will submit to an independent inquiry by the state’s attorney general office and has set aside $10 million to reimburse victims for their therapy.
