We call those "heart attack" snowfalls.

Get a snowblower or have someone plow for you.

I have a snowblower and will probably be moving it around 4-5 tonight.

...and I grew up even further North so when I see you talk about your Winter weather I really do know what you're talkin' about. I've lived it.

I understand.

Seems to me, Winter as I know it, has changed.

I remember the year it was noticeably different too:

1998.

Since then we've had maybe 3-4 winters that seemed normal. Otherwise, shorter in length and definitely warmer.

Scientists say the climate is changing and it's not for the better. Their statements are backed up by research and other data yet there are those who don't believe it and they have a ton of excuses for not believing, the scientists are wrong, the scientists are exaggerating, the data is wrong, etc. I believe the scientists and their research rather than some guy in bumfuck who is opining. 78

You don't think global war, oops climate change won't benefit some areas if indeed the "science" is correct?

You obviously question science so why even ask?

I can understand that and it should be a consideration in all things.

I didn't like the police officer threatening to ticket me and tow my car because I didn't dig it out of the snow and move it across the street so they could plow the side of the street my car was on. Sorry officer, I've been sick all yesterday and today with stuffed up sinuses and a sore throat. I probably shouldn't have even went to the casino on opening day yesterday. Lost $40 on slots. And couldn't even get a seat at a blackjack table which is what I mainly wanted to do. IHad to cause a minor disturbance to get my younger brother off the poker tables and drive me home. It didn't help that I was also hungry and thirsty, not eating or drinking anything all day until 5pm.

I feared for my life as I reluctantly decided to have my younger brother drive on the still messy roads this afternoon to sample some beers, do some shopping....yay we finally have snow shovels.

Oh the fun!!! The guy up the street ( a big SOB) was just screaming at his snowblower because it broke a shear pin. I could hear him good because the wind was carrying sound from quite a ways away it was super windy. I was just finishing and he was very colorful yelling at it......."you stupid fucker" what the fuck......."you pc of shit"

Serves him right for whacking my mailbox and being a dickhead about it.
