Yep, it goes beyond that in this case, for sure. Stupidity + hubris + anger. Hernandez thought he was entitled and untouchable. He was wrong.

The Globe reported that when the trooper stopped the vehicle, the front passenger called out, "Trooper, I'm Aaron Hernandez, it's OK," according to the report.
Aaron who? Didn't help Bradley in the least that night, but shows the arrogance of Hernandez.
