People have been talking about immigration for ages, here and around the world. But, I agree that it's good that Presidential candidates are talking about it a lot in the lead-up to election.
Trump just has the most exposure and a loud bullhorn with which to make his voice heard, using the bullshit strategy that you support to push his extreme position to like-minded Americans.
You deride politicians who you don't like and who you suspect are lying or misleading the public. BUT, when Donald Trump blatantly deceives/misleads the public and the readily-available facts prove it, that's fine by you (because you're of the same mindset and thus the ends justify the means).
I don't feel the same about it, and that's not a problem. To me, blatant bullshitting does not equate to having "balls" or "guts" in any case. Just the opposite. So, we can agree to disagree.
