I seen the opposite. When they were on paper they had to work a full time job and they damn sure made sure they did that. They did not want to explain to the parole officer why they were always short hours. The only issue I seen was the overnight jobs were a no go. Usually they couldn't leave the county, or state. That is unless they contacted the PO and got written permission and had to have full time access to a phone because the PO could and would call and make sure they were at work.
