I like some of the things Donald Trump says. I would like to bring back businesses to the U.S., create more jobs, keep the illegal people out and most of all, quit giving them benefits paid for by the US taxpayers, etc....That is why Trump is good at this, i.e, he tells you what you want to hear. He talks the talk, but he will never go beyond that. He will not produce what he is promising to his followers. It is just talk......He does not have the temperament, disposition, diplomatic skills, etc. needed to accomplish all that he promises. The US has to depend upon its allies, and engage in negotiating with World leaders to maintain financial health and the safety and welfare of its citizens.....It is more complicated than resolving trade issues with China.
I have heard the UK and now another country are debating whether to even allow this man into their country. How can he be our spokesman with his disastrous people skills? He would have our country engaged in WW111 and no question, our young people would be going to war on our soil. He shouldn't be elected to the Presidency just because he says things we agree with..... because none of those promises will ever come to fruition....It is just more complicated because we have to co-exist with other countries and therein, lies a big reason we can't actually do all the things Trump proposes. We simply can't live in isolation from the rest of the World....so hopefully, his followers will come to their senses and stop him before he can do any more damage and before, he completely destroys our great country.
MS, your comment about Gov't being stalemated over past 4 years, I think it is more that no action could be taken because of an obstructionist Congress. They clearly weren't working for the people who voted them into office and did everything they could to block any bill presented by the Democratic administration.
