NEW HAMPSHIRE COUPLE KILLED IN TX
#21
District Attorney John Hubert said during the press conference that because the investigation is ongoing, they won’t reveal where the man and woman crossed into Mexico.

He said they only have a picture of two crossing the border, but there might have been more in the back, they don’t know.

Hubert said that the male and female in the photo have identifying tattoos and the man was wearing large gauge earrings.

He added that the investigators have had contact with authorities in Mexico, but would not elaborate more on what that entailed.

Other New Details from Today's Press Conference

--Officials said that an officer was investigating the area, trying to get GPS coordinates, when he saw what appeared to be remains in the sand. That was how the grave was found.

--Animals had been digging up the grave and that’s why the remains were exposed.

--When asked how the Butlers were killed, Lt. David Mendoza, who is leading the investigation, said they weren’t commenting on Cause of Death because it's an important part of their investigation.

--There were three cats in the RV with the Butlers and it’s not known what happened to the cats.

--James Butler was a friendly and generous person, Lt Mendoza said. He said people who don’t know each other often meet up at that part of the beach and hang out.

Persons of Interest Identified by Name

The couple shown in the surveillance photo below driving the Butlers' vehicles into Mexico on October 21st has now been identified as 33-year-old Adam Curtis Williams and Amanda Noverr.

[Image: screen-shot-2019-11-04-at-2.28.52-pm.jpg...=all&w=780][Image: ?url=https%3A%2F%2Fewscripps.brightspotc...ams-kz.jpg]

Williams is currently wanted for felony theft because that is what the sheriff’s office believes they have probable cause to arrest him for at this time. He is originally from Utah and has a long criminal record. https://heavy.com/news/2019/11/adam-curtis-williams/

Sheriff’s deputies are asking anyone with information about the incident or Williams’s location to come forward.

Williams, who is local to the Corpus Christi area, has scars above and below his right eye, extensive tattoos on his arms and neck, and ear gauges.

Hopefully the fact that Williams is covered in distinguishing tattoos will help police or residents in the U.S. or Mexico to recognize him and have his ass hauled in for questioning soon.

There was nothing other than a name yet for the female passenger in any of the statements I've seen from Texas authorities.  (Edit: she is 32 and also hails from Utah.)

I am too.

There have been so many cases where suspects were captured by surveillance video, but the images were too fuzzy to be of real help.

Fortunately, the criminal asshole in this case leaned out the window and has a slew of distinguishing tats.

Hoping to hear of an arrest very soon.  If the POIs are hiding out in Mexico, which seems a good bet, they should be easily recognized (even more so if they're still in possession of the Butlers' vehicles).

Arrest Made

The Kleberg County Sheriff's Office just announced that Adam Curtis Williams and Amanda Noverr have been captured in Mexico.

Kleberg County Sheriff Richard Kirkpatrick said authorities worked with Mexican authorities to locate the pair.

I hope they still had the Butlers' RV, which police previously said might be a mobile crime scene.

First Court Appearance

[Image: adam-curtis-williams-amanda-noverr.jpg?w=1024]

Adam Curtis Williams and Amanda Noverr, both charged with felony theft in connection with the killing of a New Hampshire couple, appeared in a Texas courtroom Friday.

Both Williams and Noverr said they had no source of income when they were arrested, and both received court-appointed attorneys. Both are being held on $1 million bond.

Noverr has a small child who was with her and Williams when they were arrested in Mexico.

Authorities aren’t saying how the Butlers were killed, but they’re still looking for help from anyone who may have seen the suspects in Texas.

Neither Williams nor Noverr has been charged with murder at this point.  The investigation is ongoing.
