Caylee Anthony. NO JUSTICE
#61
hahaha bozo tried to get the judge to disallow cameras in the courtroom for the trial. good luck with that assclown!

OS:

Casey Anthony lied about a nanny taking Caylee, a former Anthony attorney tells CBS’ ”48 Hours Mystery.”

CBS shared that revealing interview last night. When asked about the nanny, Linda Kenney Baden says, “I think everyone knows that that was a lie.”

Kenney Baden also tells correspondent Troy Roberts that Anthony’s “actions have been her own worst enemy.” Kenney Baden left the case in October, citing financial reasons.

The ”48 Hours Mystery” airs at 10 p.m. Saturday

Linda Kenney Baden probably violated the canon of ethics with that one. oh well. let someone complain to the BAR.

48 HOURS is going to do a sympathy for casey Sat. night.

Casey Anthony and her defense team lost a key ruling today after a judge decided that pictures of heart-shaped stickers and Anthony's tattoo might be used at her trial.

Judge Belvin Perry's ruling means the evidence could be used at trial but it does not mean they are automatically in.

When the trial starts, the state will still have to go through the normal process of admitting evidence.

Perry also left open the possibility that defense attorney Jose Baez could argue again against using the evidence if he establishes the proper foundation for a legal argument.

Residue from a heart-shaped sticker was found on duct tape stretched across Caylee Marie Anthony's mouth.

Prosecutors have argued the timing and nature of the tattoo itself are "relevant and probative."

Caylee Marie was last seen June 16, 2008. She was not reported missing until July 15, 2008.

It was during that time period that Anthony received the tattoo: "La Bella Vita," an Italian expression for "The Beautiful Life" or "The Good Life."

Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the toddler's death.

Epitaph or new beginning?

"The tattoo is relevant to show the defendant's state of mind during this time period, and the inscription obtained can certainly be read either as an epitaph for her daughter, or signaling a new beginning for herself," the state argues in court papers.

Caylee's remains were found in December 2008 -- five months after she was reported missing -- in woods less than a mile from her family home in east Orange County.

Baez and other members of the defense team have been fighting to exclude evidence of the tattoo and heart-shaped sticker from her trial.

The residue from a heart-shaped sticker couldn't be detected after FBI officials processed the evidence for fingerprints, according to court documents.

And, FBI officials failed to take a picture of the residue before it was destroyed. Days after the remains were found, deputies collected various heart stickers from Anthony's home. A pink heart sticker also was found in the area where Caylee's remains were found.

Defense witnesses withdrawn

Earlier today, Baez said he is withdrawing expert Dr. William Weitz, ending the debate about whether testimony from him and another expert, Dr. Jeffrey Danziger,

Prosecutors wanted to prohibit any reference to or mention of the findings of Danziger William Weitz.

Their reports were provided to the prosecution late last month, but have not been released publicly.

Prosecutor Jeff Ashton's motion said the doctors' reports and a defense motion to add them as witnesses "reveal that the testimony does not relate to a legal defense to any of the charges contained in the indictment."

The motion also said the reports are based entirely on statements made to them by Anthony, and that the doctors didn't diagnose Anthony "as suffering from any clinical or personality disorders as recognized by the American Psychiatric Association."

i did see it. it rehashed the evidence and story. it had a mock jury who didn't find casey guilty of 1st degree murder, but was able to convict on a lesser charge.

i thought it was an exercise in manipulation. they don't have any clue what the prosecution will present. it was just to garner ratings.

you can watch '48 Hours' full episodes online at their site.

ORLANDO --
Judge Belvin Perry ruled Thursday that the stain found in Casey Anthony's car trunk will be allowed in the trial.

Perry is still expected to hand down other rulings on several motions regarding numerous pieces of key evidence, including air samples from Casey's car, the presence of chloroform in the trunk and her alleged computer search for "how to make chloroform."

These decisions will directly impact how each side proceeds through the trial. (won't be today)

The judge is also expected to make a decision about which, if any, of the following evidence should be allowed to be presented during Casey's murder trial:

* Heart-shaped sticker found near Caylee Anthony's remains
* Police dog alerts indicating a dead body in her car, and around the Anthony home.

Casey's mother, Cindy the lying media whore, first claimed the trunk smelled like a dead body. She later retracted that statement, saying the smell was from rotting pizza.

more bad news for casey and bozo today. Smiley_emoticons_razz

Orland Sentinel
The judge in the Casey Anthony case issued several key orders Tuesday about evidence prosecutors want to use against her in next month's first-degree murder trial, mostly ruling in favor of the state.

Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry ruled that evidence of heart-shaped residue spotted on duct tape that covered 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony's mouth could be admissible at trial, so long as the state lays the proper argument for the item, as is required of all evidence.

That piece of evidence is significant because investigators also found heart-shaped stickers at the home Anthony and Caylee shared with their family.

Perry also denied a defense motion to exclude expert testimony about "post-mortem banding" on a single strand of hair found in Anthony's car.

wow! casey filed a motion with the court to keep her parents out of the trial!

well this is interesting. 4 days to trial and the parents want to visit casey privately. so the Sheriff is supposed to suspend the rules for them?? i certainly hope not. they haven't visited her since 2008 i don't think, because the visits are taped. well tough.
so what's up? want to get their stories straight? find out if she's going to blame them? or put on a show that will be released to the public? whatever.

jury selection starts monday, should take a week, then the trial. i will be riveted! it's been a long wait.

i also wondered if she might get scared and try to plea. i sure hope the prosecution would fight that shit, they have all the evidence. and what casey has is bozo and mayberry mason.

George and Cindy Anthony want to meet with their daughter Casey Anthony in jail before, during and, if necessary, after her upcoming murder trial, but they don't want video of those meetings released to the public.

The request has been made in court papers filed this week by Mark Lippman, attorney for the Anthonys.

It's not even clear yet if Casey Anthony would agree to meet with her parents. They haven't visited her since early on in the case.

But that is in large part because recordings of those emotional and sometimes volatile visits became public record. They have been played over and over again on television and the Internet. They surfaced again this week with the news of Lippman's motion.

"It is the position of George and Cindy Anthony that the media be precluded from gaining access to the videos until and at such time it is determined that there indeed is some necessity for the media to have access," Lippman said.

The motion also says that Casey Anthony's defense counsel has said the matter will be discussed with her, but the defense had not replied to the motion.

It's the hint of arsenic that gives it that extra kick.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- In the case against Casey, the defense filed a motion late on Thursday objecting to the Anthonys' move to try to sit through the entire trial, even before they testify.

Legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said that's confirmation of the story WFTV broke weeks ago, that the defense could be planning to pin Caylee's murder on someone else in Casey's family, possibly her father George.

Even the Anthonys' lawyer admits they're getting that indication.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- WFTV has learned that Casey Anthony's parents have requested a visit with her at 9:00am Saturday.

Casey won't be told by the jail until Saturday morning that George and Cindy have scheduled the visit. Therefore, Casey's parents won't know until that time if she will accept the visit.

Casey's parents haven't visited her in jail since August 14, 2008.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Judge Belvin Perry called for a hearing Friday in the case against Casey Anthony.

The hearing will take place at the Orange County courthouse at 1 p.m., according to court officials.

The hearing will address a new motion by the defense called "Objection to New Venue," according to court documents.

that would refer to secret venue where the jury will be chosen. defense must have been told and doesn't like it. or trying to delay trial.

and will address the anthony's request to be exempted from the rule of sequestration.

more cause for delay?

ORLANDO, Fla. -- WFTV has learned that Casey Anthony's defense team has lost its jury selection consultant, Richard Gabriel. This is a huge blow to the defense.

A jury selection consultant is a person who helps trial attorneys choose their jury. Casey's defense team is now scrambling for a new consultant just three days before jury selection is scheduled to start.

these jurors will be away from home for about 2 months. 12 jurors and eight alternates.
this bitch has cost millions $$$ and now this. selfish whore.

this is the Tampa area.
Potential jurors are expected to enter the Pinellas County Courthouse in about 15 minutes for jury selection in the Casey Anthony murder trial — one of the biggest cases in Florida history.

Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry announced this morning that Pinellas residents would judge Anthony, but Pinellas County Court officials said they had known for weeks.

After a jury is selected, they will be brought to Orlando and sequestered for a trial at the Orange County Courthouse.

Jury selection is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. in Clearwater and the process is expected to last until at least Friday.
