I am saying you do not get to hang the impartialness of his station over his head like the Sword of Damocles in which everyoone gets to do their best to ruin him and he does not get to hit back. In other words you all had your shot to hurt him and now it is his turn. Don't claim victimhood though when the shoe is on the other foot.
