I don't have a political 'team'.
As I said, I think most every (but not all) of the senators in both parties was looking for a win for their party/team, rather than a reasonable and fair compromise that would work fine for the majority of Americans and could have prevented a predictably short-lived shutdown.
The Dems were pandering to the hardliners on the left and the Republicans (including the President) were pandering to the hardliners on the right. That's how it's been for too long now, in my opinion. The voices of the majority of Americans get drowned out by the bullshit-flinging extremists.
