Nobody denies that Puerto Rico had existing infrastructure problems and corruption Maggot. Most of the U.S. does.
And nobody is denying that the local Puerto Rican government made mistakes too. They're owning it.
That has nothing to do with the federal government's responsibility to assist its citizens and minimize fatalities in natural disasters.
Denying the lack of preparedness and high death counts is irresponsible bullshit which does not promote continuous improvement in handling future natural disasters.
And, I still disagree with your statement in the natural disaster thread about how the devastating hurricanes were the best things that could happen to Puerto Rico.
