A friend posted this on his social media page. Fear of the White Male going away. I wonder why it is so important for people to identify and hang on to that so much and to call it godly. I get where they are coming from-I really do. I recommend reading "Fire in the Belly. On Being a Man" it is a good book and discusses the importance of ceremony in our culture and how that has gone away. That may be a point-celebrations, traditions that honor the transitions of our lives. I think that could be important for both men and women.


My world and my God are big enough that we can honor the achievements of all human kind. I don't need to feel threatened.
