Puerto Rico is so corrupt. For years the leaders have become rich and the infrastructure has suffered. One of the reasons they are not getting as much money to rebuild is they have received cash many times to prop up their banking industry only to have the crooked politicians take most of it. Then you have a natural disaster and all things go further south.
But I agree Americans are more concerned about what the Kardashians or the Hollywood elite are up to than other things and the media will gravitate towards the money in the blink of an eye. Like a dog that wakes up from sleep when a squirrel skitters by.
