You go your entire life without heart problems then the all gang up on you for no reason. This one was a close call and I had the Gorilla fireman pounding on my chest like a Grape ape. This happened last Sunday and I just got home an hr ago. I'm very lucky for the people in my life that keep an eye on me.

Thanks everyone, I'm taking the week off and wondering if I want to retire, scale things back, and turn my hobbies into part time jobs to keep me busy. Thats a big step as I'm only 57 but its doable. I get a lot of stress from work because I get into it to deep but I think I've given enough in that department throughout my life, I've had a job since I was 12 and have never looked back maybe it's time to cut the crap and focus on terrorizing more people.

Welll glad to see you are back Maggs, getting old sucks, and at "57" you're really far from old!

However, no one actually knows how long they will visit our planet. So if you can financially see your way to be able to retire early, do it.

I had an extremely stressful job for the last 20 years of my working career that I took an early retirement from.

Early retirement is what I believe has helped me to live a longer life than if I remained in my pressure cooker job!
