Another instance where something wasn't followed through. This is fuckin' ridiculous.

It's becoming unforgivable to me, at this point.

So many in law enforcement are gun enthusiasts; I think that often leads them to go very soft when it comes to removing guns from troubled citizens (even in cases where they have the legal green-light to do so, like this one).

That seems to be changing some though. Cops are seeing the public reaction to that softness and also seeing too many of their own being lost because of that softness.

Plus, for the first time in my lifetime, the NRA (and many Republican politicians) are now viewing and targeting law enforcement as their opponent. That trio has been joined at the hip, for as long as I can remember. The break-up between them could be a very good thing for society and the law enforcement community, in my opinion.
