Rest in peace Officer Sean Gannon.
Gannon, 32, was known as 'the Tom Brady' of Yarmouth Police Department. He was an eight year veteran and described as a dedicated and well-loved officer on the force and in the community.
On Thursday, Gannon was shot in the head while trying to apprehend a career criminal for gun offenses.
Gannon's K-9 partner Nero sustained multiple gun shot wounds, but fortunately survived and is still being treated in a veterinary hospital.
