Bb-bye Duggers
27-year-old Josh Duggar ^, faith leader and married father of four, is now the subject of intense media scrutiny for sexually molesting girls in their sleep when he was a teen.
He and his family and conservative political supporters (like Mick Huckabee) acknowledge and forgive his past "mistake". It's not clear, but I believe the girls and women he molested are probably family members and/or church members.
When the girls first made the allegations and he was caught in the act, the baby-churning factory known as his parents (Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar) had a family friend and Arkansas State Trooper give Josh a stern lecture. That's when the Duggars were first being featured on TLC and starting their multi-million dollar reality tv empire. Shockingly, that didn't solve the problem.
So, they sent their oldest son Josh to 4 months of faith healing and he was cured, they all say.
Well, that Arkansas State Trooper, ^ Joseph Hutchens, was recently sentenced to 56 years for distribution and possession of child pornography.
With all of this coming to the surface, TLC ran a marathon of the Duggar shows (the ever-growing family has been featured on the network for 13 years). TLC got a lot of backlash and network execs have now pulled the show and all re-runs.
I've never watched an episode of a Duggar's show. But, I hope this family fades away quickly. For whatever reason, just their faces in promos and media pages annoys the shit outta me.
