I was too. 

I hadn't been excited about it at all, but once it all began I thought it was pretty fuckin' cool. I was watching reporters interviewing those who were in totality in Texas, Indiana and Ohio and without fail they were all very moved by the experience.

I protected my eyes, I watched it on TV, didn't chance it with possible bootleg glasses. Plus, not to mention, sun was only about 30 or so percent blocked in my area. It hardly even got 
a little dark.
