I do understand your point (not all deaths are murder) and I agree.
However, there seems to be a disconnect regarding childrens' deaths and charges against parents.
Adam Baker comes to mind, right about . . . now.
I believe you to be caring and conscientious. I believe you to be a person of substance and responsibility. And I also believe that you hold parenting as a sacred vocation.
But I don't believe you would ever leave your child in a hot car or unattended around water . . . because you were busy or overworked.
Busy and overworked is a choice or condition from and by lifestyle decisions made by adults (parents).
If life becomes so hectic that it endangers the welfare of your child, it is your responsibility realign your priorities.
Heck . . . I'll bet your friends and associates would tell tales of your self-sacrifice for the benefit of your animals.
