ONIA, Ark. (AP) - Law enforcement and volunteers in northern Arkansas are searching for a 3-year-old boy who's been missing since Tuesday morning.

Authorities say Landen Cade Trammell was last seen at about 8 a.m. Tuesday at his home in Onia, a rural community northwest of Mountain View. Crews searched all day Tuesday and resumed efforts Wednesday morning.

Authorities tell Little Rock television station KTHV that Landen may have wandered away from the home.

Authorities are using Department of Correction dogs, as well as Baxter County and Arkansas State Police helicopters in the search.

Landen is described as a white male standing 3 feet, weighing 29 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last known to only be wearing white underwear.

authorities tell Today's THV that Trammell's grandfather was watching him and thought the boy was asleep on the couch. Then an hour later he wasn't there.

Trammell is said to have been wearing only his white underwear when he wandered away from his home. He is around 30 lbs and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Details are emerging about the location of 3-year-old Landen Trammell, who was reported missing from his Stone County home on Tuesday.

According to a news release issued by Stone County officials, young Landen was found just after 2:30 Wednesday afternoon by a US Forest Service team within the grid mapping system that was put together for the search.

Landen was evaluated at Stone County Medical Center, where he appears to be in good condition.

Senator Missy Irvin of Mountain View says Landen was found near a pond covered in mud, which camouflaged him a bit.

KARK 4's Adam Rodriguez reports that Landon was making mud pies and his first words upon discovery were, "I'm playing." thank goodness...THIS time.

The U.S. Forest Service team that found him were from the Big Piney district and the team leader is Bradley Taylor.

The family thanks all the organizations, agencies and volunteers who took part in the massive search effort.
