Hillary Clinton has unequivocally denounced violence at rallies; violence by both Trump opponents and Trump supporters.
If there's some evidence that violent protesters are being paid by anti-Trump groups, I'd love to see it. It defies common sense that they'd help Trump like that.
Anyway............Hillary Clinton secured the endorsement of Michael Bloomberg's Everytown U.S.A. for Gun Safety yesterday.
With 3.5 million members, Bloomberg's (verified) billions of dollars, and a commitment to defeating Donald Trump, the group could really help Clinton in California and blue states.
Trump, who as a private citizen supported a ban on assault rifles, opposes a ban on assault rifles as a presidential candidate. He has the support of the N.R.A.
Hillary and Bernie are still neck and neck going into California's primary on Tuesday, but Clinton has scooped up late endorsements from the United Auto Workers union; the environmental group NRDC Action Fund, which has never endorsed a candidate before; the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus Leadership PAC; and even the Democratic Leader of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, a state Sanders won by a landslide.
