Anyway, Clinton's up by 8% nationally in the polls following the DNC convention and Trump's recent idiocy.
His comments regarding the Gold Star Khan family, his invitation to Russia to hack Clinton, his repeated and detailed false claims that he watched a non-existent video of ransom exchange for Iran hostages (followed by his admission that he never saw such a video), his refusal to support down ticket Republicans (followed by his hilarious unenthusiastic scripted endorsement of them two days later), etc... is really harming Trump's chances in swing states. He can't win without those key states and he's lost a lot of ground in them over the last two weeks.
Trump loves polls, but he's no longer citing them on the stump. He's now behind Clinton by double digits in New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and down by 9 in Michigan. http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2016/08/04...ng-states/
Clinton has also taken the lead with white college educated voters. She's snagged the vast majority of Sanders' supporters, with Johnson and Stein splitting the lion's share of the others.
