Presidential race 2016
(11-10-2016, 09:15 PM)sally Wrote: The deplorables of the country (whether they're for Hillary or trump) are the only ones that protest. No one else has time for that shit, they have to go to work and live their lives. I'd say send them to Mexico and let the illegals who are only here to work and support their families stay.

Well, from this deplorable for Hillary, I am not out in the street protesting....but I am protesting on computer. Women have fought long and hard for equal rights, and we still do not receive same pay for same work....(I know, I am not forgetting other minorities) Trump and his fellow thugs will set back the rights gained for last 50 years if he follows through with some of his threats.....Do you really want to go back to life as it was in the 50's..Most of you weren't even born until much later......
If you don't make time to stand up for equal rights, you just might lose those rights. It happens so whether you are busy working and living your life, make time to fight for the right to be equal and let no man (or woman) take that away from you.......
You need to make time for this shit.......

I think he might be a Birther.

As an aside, I took a great deal of satisfaction knowing Melania Trump had to come face to face with the woman she plagiarized. HAHAHAHA!

I haven't watched/read/listened to any political bullshit since Hillary's speech on Wednesday. I haven't been able to avoid headlines though.

I remember when Obama won and quite a few republicans were pissed and were going off the deep end but I don't recall riots and stupidity ruling the day. The left reflects their hatred of the right in their actions. I ask "who are the real deplorable s here" The man has not even become president yet and quite a few Democrats are saying "he will do this and he will do that" he hasn't even become prez yet and these upchucks are destroying private property and fantasizing about the apocalypse.
And people were afraid Trumps army of robots were going to raise hell if he didn't win. What a bunch of boneheads. Clinton and Obama have been gracious in the public eye, I'm not sure how they are off camera but at least they are accepting the outcome. As should everyone. At least until he does something.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

I laughed when Duchess posted this election will tear families apart. I thought it was another of her clever, wonderful and overtly melodramatic pieces of discussion bait . . . one without any real seriousness . . . but one that would hopefully extract the sober and (often deliberately) absurd musings from Mock's members.

Looks like the laugh and joke is on me.

My niece . . . one who I have mentioned many times in posts, is no longer speaking to me. This is a true statement . . . no exaggeration . . . no melodrama.

She informed me that she is NOT planning to attend the Thanksgiving gathering in Hawaii.

She told me she "doesn't give two shits" why I supported Trump. Instead, she kept quoting Van Jones . . . like an evangelical preacher, with Bible in hand, screaming the Gospel.

After letting her rant for about five minutes (it seemed like an eternity), I thanked her for sharing her views and concerns.

Somewhere within her tirade, she let it slip that her "friend" thought her Mom and I were "cowards . . . racists and cunts". I told her I loved her and hoped she would reconsider her decision about Hawaii.

I was then told that "I will never be comfortable around any asshole who supported that rapist and racist fuck face".

She never mentioned the Alaska cruise in May, reserved and paid in full, as my graduation gift, to her. Thank goodness I purchased trip insurance.

Although she never called me a "deplorable", you could see it in her eyes.

I went to give her a hug and she pushed me away.

And why all of this fear? In no particular order:

1. Pence believes you can electrocute the gay out of someone.

2. LGBTQ rights will be revoked and members of this group will be jailed.

3. Peaceful Muslims will be interred.

4. Women will not be allowed to advance in the workplace.

5. Abortions will be outlawed.

6. Police and military will be ordered to occupy minority neighborhoods and murder dissidents.

7. "He" will use nuclear weapons against any country or people against his "illegal" administration.

8. Anyone who had insurance under Obama Care would no longer have insurance.

9. "He" will deport Hispanic parents and jail their children.

10. Something about the KKK gaining majorities in both houses of Congress.

And my personal favorite: Men will be encouraged and be praised for violence against women, gays and minorities.

Any guesses on my niece's sexual orientation and the nationality, race and vocation of her lover?

I laugh when Aussie drunk posts . . . unfortunately, this shit is way over the top of anything posted by Aussie, Dick, OP or Cracker.

So young . . . with a heart and mind . . . full of hate and fear.

I am so fucking hurt and angry!

She knows the NPCs that her Mom, Nana, uncles and I established to help women and children.

She accompanied me when looking to purchase properties to house displaced women and their children . . . with no charge to the occupants!

She knows the vast amounts of time and resources devoted to protect, enrich and champion women and children . . . without regard to race, creed or nationality . . . by me and her relatives!

She also knows that veterans and women and children of domestic abuse got priority to our services.

And she's seen how minorities, women and children "flourished" under Obama's administration. (In all fairness, she was too young to comprehend and remember any social inequalities during Bush 2).

Too bad she's forgotten I am the administrator of her trust. Out of spite I would convert all holdings into every investment that would prosper, if her fears would come true.

Wire coat-hanger manufacturers and "straight" jackets are being considered.

Private prisons, exclusively for foreigners, too.

I'm half tempted to find some Aryan group and donate a chunk of her change, for the purpose of establishing some sort of racist fund. The condition would be THAT THE FUND HAVE HER NAME ATTACHED AND DISPLAYED PROMINENTLY ON THEIR WEBSITE AND LITERATURE!

The hell with sending her a Pajama Gram with Trump's face.

I congratulate influential liberals for condoning (silence speaks volumes) violent protest when one feels wronged or ignored . . . especially over one's Constitutional rights.

And the hate speech they so readily criticize.

Anti-gun folks . . . be ready to be justifiably shot and possibly killed. Same liberal logic when fear obscures reality.

Gen Xers and Millennials . . . you just learned why a participation trophy and not keeping score doesn't work in real world situations.

And I want to thank our president, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, for not condemning violent protests as readily and often as he attacked Trump.

I like the protests. One thing that happened to Obama (and it was the first time in history that I know of) is that he was viscerally hated by many before he even took office. It dogged him throughout both terms. And I mean HATED. I have a feeling Hillary would have been hated on as well (since so many people liked to refer to her as a crooked cunt). So, in all fairness, I hope there's an equally loud group of Trump haters. Matter of fact if I cared enough and was interested, I might just take it up as a hobby. Pussy chasing, tax dodging, racist, bigoted, narcissistic mother fucker. I have to come up with something catchier and shorter though. Instead of POTUS, he can be Piece Of Shit Under Stated. POSUS.

Seriously, I think it would be only fair if an older, white male got the same level of unrelenting disrespect and disgust as the black guy and "crooked Hillary".

Tiki, it sounds unbelievable, but from what I've seen on the TV images over the last 24 hours, I'm not surprised that a young person could react like that.

I'll be interested to know down the road, if/when she comes back to her family and admits she was way off base.

I feel bad for you and your family.

I was also watching Fox News intermittently because they also have people on who are expert in their area of politics, until the blatant bias becomes too much to stomach, I have to change the channel.

"In a newly added chapter to her forthcoming book "Settle for More," obtained by Radar Online, Kelly provides a detailed account of her boss's unwanted sexual advances. Ailes, the former Fox News chief, was ousted earlier this year amid similar allegations from a litany of women.

"There was a pattern to his behavior," Kelly wrote. "I would be called into Roger's office, he would shut the door, and over the next hour or two, he would engage in a kind of cat-and-mouse game with me -- veering between obviously inappropriate sexually charged comments (e.g. about the 'very sexy bras' I must have and how he'd like to see me in them) and legitimate professional advice."

Kelly writes that Ailes offered to advance her career "in exchange for sexual favors" and made "physical advances," which she rejected.

In January 2006, she writes, Ailes "crossed a new line -- trying to grab me repeatedly and kiss me on the lips." When she shoved him away, she alleges, "he asked me an ominous question: 'When is your contract up?' And then, for the third time, he tried to kiss me."

The harassment lasted for six months, according to Kelly's account, ending only after she reported him to a supervisor."

Sorry to hear that BT. Sounds like that kid is going to have a lot of regrets ahead of her. Not due to you of course. Kids these days... I'm betting she will come to her senses when she realizes the world isn't going to implode and remembers who she's always been able to count on in a pinch or just for pure unconditional love. Sounds like the GF might be a bit manipulative and bat shit crazy as well. That may not stand the test of time either. Just be there to catch her when she falls, because it sounds like it's going to be a long way down to get back to earth.

I never understand people that plagiarize. I mean, it really doesn't take a massive amount of brain power to say something that someone else has said in another way. But if you take it word for word, yeh man, you are going to get caught.

All the things that Trump and his family and how they have conducted themselves throughout this campaign has been outrageous. The son referring to refugees as Skittles, posting an illegal post of voting, just the sheer entitlement and brattyness of them is rancid.

You guys in the USA have been through enough! Vietnam, race riots, September 11 and now you are lumbered with a dictator. If the election was rigged it is clear that he was behind it and bought his way into the White House, he really doesn't belong there.

Did you forget about hanging chads and the Supreme Court STEALING the election from Bill's anointed one?

FFS!

I hope it's chardonnay and not dementia.

How old is she? Seeing that she's your niece and not your daughter it might be awkward to smack her really hard across the face and tell her to come back and talk to you when she's has a life and knows her head from her ass.

That's what I'd tell my kid if they came at me with that crap, but it's a little different when it's not your kid. I wouldn't take it too much to heart though, kids are stupid.

That's probably what 80 year olds think about me, I'm a stupid fucking kid still wet behind the ears. Probably not though, once you hit 40 no one thinks you're a kid anymore, not even the really ancient people in the nursing home.

That is really sad.......I read something very profound on FB yesterday....I have a lot of Republicans in my life (I don't know how the hell that happened) and some friendships got a little strained after hurling insults back and forth. What I read was about not allowing this election to alienate relationships, trying to understand each other's perceptions, etc....i know that is a tough task given this election will go down in the history books. The whole country is divided; maybe your niece could understand that even though you stand on the other side of the fence, you still love each other and that fence can be torn down..... Heck, you know what to say and do...as long as you respect each other's viewpoint.....I just tried to explain to my 15 yr old granddaughter how DT was elected....she doesn't understand that either....

Your niece is young, and she will calm down and hopefully realize, she over reacted. DT stepped on a lot of toes, but when she realizes most of the threats made will not come to fruition because no man or President has that much power. Plus, he is a liar....sorry.....

I feel badly for you, but if she doesn't go with you Thanksgiving, it still won't be end of World.....just give it time to heal....in any case, I am so sorry......We can't let politics damage our friendships and familyships....and I do hope this doesn't keep you apart for long....I think everyone will cool down, but some of us need time to grieve......typing in the dark sucks....anyway, Good luck and have fun in Hawaii......nice if u and User could meet for a drink......

There's a lot of blue on each coast with red staying mainly in between the two. That's interesting to me and makes me wonder why geography plays such a role in opinions. I have questions.
