So, Gunnar, sup fucker?

How was your business trip, or rehab, or criminal incarceration or whatever it was?

I bet $20 in the Mock pool on "incarceration". Figured you were busted on a bench warrant for failure to appear at your hearing for that pesky little indecent exposure incident.

No, it's been all business. They just keep adding to my travel schedule. Wilkes Barre is on deck along with Louisville and Puerto Rico.

Smiley_emoticons_wink Definitely not my style; stole it from the thread title.

Tossing out some familiar lingo for the new kid.

Just my way of helping Gunnar feel comfortable, now that he's out of jail and attempting to transition back into forum society and all.

P.s. I'm growing sweatshirts today, nifty trick. Damn quoted typos!

Sup? Just got back into town.

I'd like to tell people I was going out of town for awhile just so I could have some peace & quiet. I've been putting my phone on vibrate lately and that lil' bitch hums & vibrates along the surface of my desk all day long sometimes.

I could recap the latest updates shared by members here while you were out, but you could just read the threads and get it first hand. That's probably better; no chance of critical details getting lost in translation.

So, sup with you, fucker?

Did you party like a rock star during your free time? Buy any nose ornaments on your trip? Get any tats? Break any hearts?

No, I was working. But I partied with a rock star after I returned home. No new ink or piercings... Yet. I have one more trip next week to New York and then I think my schedule will even out. Met a really cool chick, if the miles between us wasn't such a huge divide, I'd probably consider a serious relationship with her, but that's life ya know?

You're doing it wrong. You're not supposed to vibrate your DESK. hah

I've been to Austin on business and Tahoe for a Big Chill type reunion while you were out. Still managed to post, slacker. No rock stars in my party circle, but we did have some Rocky Road and played a little air guitar.

Friday after next, headed to Portland for a couple of days. Going to hike at the Columbia Gorge - first time - looking forward to that.

Good that you met a cool chick, but what's the problem? I like long distance romances, personally. With technology today, you can see and talk to your object of affection like you were in the same room. And, you can get a little freaky together without having to actually be together geographically. When you do make plans to get together in-person, major anticipation (and fireworks thereafter, if you're doing it right).

So, why do you consider the distance a barrier? Are you needy or just lacking imagination, Gunnar?

We did all that and then had 3 in-person week long visits. We both decided to move on because we both wanted more of eachother but it's not logistically possible.

Just messing around with you. Smiley_emoticons_smile

Meh, if you agreed to move on rather than fuck logistics, probably the best move.

hah Yeah we tried the long distance thing but it just wasn't cutting it after the three week long visits. We tasted the forbidden fruit and it was too good to go back to fasting.

It's rare to hear about people calling it quits because they want each other too much. But, if you're both tightly geographically anchored for the foreseeable future, I get it. Sounds like it was a great experience while it lasted.

Sometimes timing is everything.
