POLITICAL CRACK UPS
Kieth Ellison is accused of dragging his ex girlfriend off a bed and yelling at her.

During the French Revolution everyone was running around yelling "off with his head" this is what much of this stuff reminds me of now. It's everywhere and becoming really silly. I don't care if this guy is number 2 in the DNC. It's going on everywhere. The social justice warfare is a bit ridiculous. People really need to get a life.

Same.
I am sick of the stretching and exaggeration of terms and such. It is like this example. What the Hell is rape today? Bad sex? Drunk sex? Tipsy sex? Sex you regret in the morning? Sex without content expression of consent? OR is it forcibly having sex with someone without their consent?
The answer "seems" to be "YES!"
But it did not always happen like this. We are all rational to know that if rape is everything then rape is nothing. That calling everything abuse makes nothing abuse.
I do not think the ideologues help anything long term with this muddying waters

If HoTD doesn't agree with you politically you better humour her snowflake mentality or she will smear you for no good reason, like every other indoctrinated SJW. Liar and Slimeball.

-- Representative Duncan Hunter and his wife Margaret Hunter pleaded not guilty to using more than $250,000 in campaign funds for groceries, golf trips, tequila shots, overseas vacations and such today in San Diego.

--They arrived separately at the courthouse to shouts of 'lock him up' and sat four seats apart as 60 counts of fraud charges were read against them.

--The indictment alleges the money was taken between 2009 and 2016.

-- Bond was set at $15,000 for him and $10,000 for her; they were ordered to turn in their firearms, submit to drug tests, and avoid international travel.

-- The couple allegedly concealed the misuse by falsifying campaign finance records, claiming the expenses as campaign-related.

--Hunter's lawyers said in 2017 that Hunter and his wife repaid the campaign about $60,000; Hunter's office said at the time that one of the charges he repaid was a $600 fee for flying a pet bunny with his family.

--Hunter won his June primary contest and election officials said there is no way to remove him from the November ballot.

-- Hunter was seen as an up-and-coming member of Congress. A former Marine, he served three tours as an artillery officer in Afghanistan and Iraq, fighting in some of the bloodiest battles in Fallujah.

--The House Ethics panel had investigated allegations that Hunter improperly used campaign funds to pay for tens of thousands of dollars in personal expenses; the panel said in March that it was delaying its inquiry at the request of the Justice Department.

The Hunters' defense is, of course, "partisan witch hunt!". 52

If they're guilty, and it sure seems so based on the indictments, I hope they get sentences to match their crimes.

Politicians who think they're above the law need to be held accountable when they break it. And, it's just plain stupid when they think they can defraud the government (state or Fed) and other U.S. citizens out of tax revenue and blame it on anyone but themselves.

There's no defense when you're caught red-handed. They, of all people, should know that it doesn't matter if you're a politician or a beautician, the IRS and FEC scrutinize financial & tax filings and will not hesitate to prosecute people who defraud them.

He sent a letter to that spineless twat Paul Ryan. Here's a bit of it I saw -

In light of recent events, I am requesting to be temporarily removed from my positions on the House Committees on Armed Services, Education and the Workforce, and Transportation and Infrastructure. I fully intend to resume my position as an active member of these committees upon a successful resolution of pending legal matters.

The charges against me are politically motivated and without merit. I intend to fight them fully. In the meantime, I look forward to quickly clearing my good name, and I will continue to represent the people of California’s 50th District.

I am amused that he was the 2nd Congressman to endorse trump, the first one is Chris Collins. They both have been indicted recently. HaHaFuckinHa.

Today Duncan Hunter said it's his wife who was handling all the expenses.

As bad as it looks for the Hunters in terms of evidence that they spent campaign donations and funds on personal expenses and luxuries, he won the Republican primary in San Diego and can't be removed from the November ballot.

And, I think he still might win even though he could be sentenced to incarceration if found guilty during his term. Between his dad Duncan Hunter Sr. and himself, the Hunters have held the seat in that red San Diego congressional district for 40 years. His Democrat challenger is Ammar Campa-Najjar, a millennial Palestinian Mexican American who has never held office before.

Maybe him and Micheal Avenatti could have a go at it. They both seem to be preening for attention. The old fart could kick him in the nuts when he goes high.

New Republican Rules Proposed

In this week's midterms, Republican voters elected two incumbent House Representatives currently facing felony indictments and a dead pimp. That's messy for the GOP.

[Image: Collins-file21-1260x800.jpg][Image: pp-dennis-hof-sex-wild-night-latin-girlf...C169&ssl=1]
Representative Chris Collins (NY), Representative Duncan Hunter (CA), Assemblyman Dennis Hof (Nevada)

Next week, House Republicans will vote on proposed new party rules for the chamber that would force indicted members of Congress to relinquish their committee assignments and leadership positions.

The new rules mandate that if a Republican representative is indicted "for a felony for which a sentence of two or more years imprisonment may be imposed," that member must “submit his or her resignation from any such committees to the House promptly.”

The new rules also require members of House GOP leadership to “step aside” if indicted for a similar felony.

The move would most immediately affect the legislative futures of Rep. Chris Collins and Rep. Duncan Hunter.
