REPURPOSING...DECORATING IDEAS HERE!
#81
I went deep-sea about 280 ft deep today, Redfish Galore but because it was after 901 I could not keep my 8 lbs. Cod or Haddock. And I caught a few. It was all Pollock and I got nil. But I did get (4) 12" Redfish and they are on ice as panners now. There is no more Haddock or Cod off the East coast according to the current administration. But 200 miles out its fair game. I hate this shit. Beat_deadhorse every freaking day......Arghhhh!

Of course you would because you're dumb as a sack of dead mice. They don't make tiny lamp shades to go over bulbs like that unless you want to burn the whole fucking house down.

I'm trying here, Duchess. It's not working.

You are trying my patience but that's to be expected you dink toed sloth. A lamp shade in any color or configuration is easily found by a person with at least a fabrication of a brain, hell I found a blue lampshade in my next door neighbors window just the other day.

That's because you're a garbage picker, the damn thing will heat up and catch your mustard gold curtains from the 70s on fire.

I saw my neighbor wearing a lampshade just last weekend through my dining room window.

His was one of those old sun-faded ones with the fringed balls around the base -- mighta been avocado green originally (I need new binoculars).

Sally, you god damned yeasty old wench -- I am already humiliated beyond words. I looked up meat grinders and that bulb-holder sure does look like it could be the crank on one of the old type models.

How the hell can I ever show my fuck face around here again?

Yes, the bulb holder is the crank.

Maybe there's more than the peppermill and grinder parts; everything and the kitchen sink kinda thing.

If not, I'm gonna feel like a total fucking retard for even asking!

Umm...that would be the crank handle from the meat grinder, no?

If it was a faucet arm, it'd be hollow and the maker would have run the electric through rather than under it, I'd expect..

I wouldn't espouse that philosophy at a labor union rally.

Thanks. It's an interesting piece.

I saw an old meat grinder with a wheel churn used as a planter not long ago. It was clamped at the end of an old table desk. Pretty cool.

There's a vendor at our weekend swap meet who makes lamps outta old pipes and plumbing fixtures -- always fun to see things transformed. He's used colanders as shades on a couple of them. Nice lighting effect.

I bet the colander is a cool effect in the dark. The guy that traded me that piece had a chandelier type thing that was made out of different size globes. It was kinda cool looking, but he wanted $300.00 for it, and I didn't like it that much Smiley_emoticons_razz

Some people are so creative they can look at a lump of rock and turn it into art.
