I was wondering what they called that stuff that came out the backside of a black hole. That's sub-zero like the evil blue villain that fights "the Flash" and never wins or that Soviet Cosmonaut that's floating in orbit around the world like a piece of crushed ice waiting to become "The man who fell to earth".

That's what happens to us test subjects. I was paid 20.00 though.....even if it doesn't work.

You kinda missed out. I was around for his last leg -- just before it all went down the toilet.

Ah well, at least you were around for the rise of Bieber and Miley.

P.s. My hoop is green, so I'd prefer my hulain' hipster Christmas present in white or black.

In Mock Music News today...

Revealed: one of blueberryhill's favorite vocal duets is...

There are a few great songs by Flack & Hathaway, but I like Where is the Love? the best, I think.

In general, I like songs based on questions a lot, now that I think of it -- except Who Let the Dogs Out? and Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar? (that last one is more accusatory finger-pointing than it is inquisitive).

I would like to take this time to thank all my fans for posting in my music NEWS thread. It is only because of your hard work and dedication that my thread has now exceeded Aussies thread by 11 posts.

Keep posting, my loyal friends. It won't be long before this thread turns out to be the greatest Mock has ever seen!!!

You were saying, crazy lady?

P.S...HotD...I have heard the Cartman version of Ghetto before. I can't decide which one is better...hah

No thanks necessary, FAHQTOO.

I like this thread, and not only because it snagged me some caliente Christmas calzoncillos courtesy of Cutz.

Rolling...Today in Mock Music News, part 2: This song was requested by Duchess, with fond memories of her UPS guy (and pool boy and mail man and...).

Aw...Hair, thanks for posting Donny and Roberta. Yes, WITL would be one of my favorites. Didn't Donny's father kill him? Should have looked it up myself.
Don't forget, "Who Shot the Sheriff?" I watched program last night on ID and that was name of segment. I have been humming it all day. Hate it...

I don't know about Donny, but I know Marvin Gaye's father killed him in a domestic dispute.

Which leads us to another question song, a Gaye one -- probably my favorite one.

You are right, it was Marvin Gaye and he has that mellow voice, too and the song u posted is another favorite. If i recall (and I don't remember much), Donny killed himself.
Barry White has that deep mellow, sexy, throaty voice, too, and i love anything he happens to sing...

I have been watching Cher after Cher clip after that. She is a really nice person. I like her. There are some musicians I like but don't always relate to where they are at in their career. She has really come more flamboyant as she has gotten older, but that special "it" factor is stayed all the way through. Lovely to watch.

That video clip is from one of her tv shows or specials in the 70s, but I don't know which one, aussie. She was all over the tv set back then and sang it often.

Cher originally sang the song (with some tweaks to the arrangement by Sonny Bono) for the closing credits of the move "Alfie" in 1966; the American release of the movie. It was featured on her 1966 album "Cher".

Cilla Black sang it for the original British release of the movie, with the song's composer Burt Bacharach playing on it for her.

Then, Bacharach gave it to his favored vocal interpreter Dionne Warwick. Dionne's version was the most successful of the three popularity-wise; a big radio hit in 1967.

And, that's what it's all about...

If this thread didn't suck before it really does now that Crazy Lady butted in with her Cher bullshit. And that moron MS should be along any moment to post the lyrics to "I've got you babe" like none us have heard the fucking song before.
