I watched Shady's press conference up in Buffalo. He talked about waking up from a nap and having a zillion text messages from people asking him about the trade. That's how he found out about it. I was disappointed to learn that. I would have thought that given he was basically the face of the franchise that someone, anyone, would have given him the courtesy of telling him first. I thought the Eagles organization were classier than that.

Well, the news leaked because of Kiko's agent/people sharing info before the trade could officially be made. That's their fault.

Actually, i'm intrigued. It's too early to tell if I'm angry or unhappy because I can't make heads or tails out of what he's up to and neither can anyone else. This has the makings of something that will either be brilliant and revolutionary, or a complete failure. I'm reserving judgement until I see where this is going.

I've never experienced FA like this. It's normally a snooze fest and I don't pay attention to what is going down but it's been very exciting since about 5 minutes into it this year. Shady's trade made some people go KABOOM and Nick's finished them off, by the time DeMarco was signed heads were spinning across the land. It has been an incredible ride. When the Eagles jet landed in Philly the helicopters were in the sky following DM to the NovaCare Complex. There was so much media and enough tears from grown men to fill a river.
