NFL 2015

Peterson thinks he's got leverage when in fact he has none.

The Vikes played 15 games without him last year and are prepared to do so again. Would it be nice to have him on board and ready to give us 100%? Absolutely.

However, his wife is 'done' with this state and how we 'treated' him, along with some in Minny's front office.

He's under contract for at least 3 more seasons and if he chooses to hold out, he loses $12M this year and grows one year older.

I hope our front office is strong enough to hold the line with him. And, if we trade him, send him to the effin' Jets.

After the cowballs signed McFadden today this may be your latest Nostradamus moment MS. They didn't pay a lot for the two year contract for last years backup RB from Oakland, but the Cowboys have some serious cap issues and every penny is going to be counted this year. If I was a balls fan I'd be screaming for Jerruh's head on a stick. He secured... Romo...

I said 2 months ago that Dallass would only get one of Dez or Murray. Are fans surprised because they're stupid or willfully ignorant?

As far as the Eagles moves this FA... it's not exciting. Murray isn't half the RB shady is. He had amazing run blocking and huge holes. You're paying him and Mathew's Shady's money... were you earmarking that money for Maclin? So when he walked you decided Murray would carry the offense? The new corners better start working hard day 1. There's gonna be a lot riding on this defense.

Meanwhile, we don't have a starting free safety and Nate Allen just got paid big money by Oakland. Terrific.

jerry is an idiot for letting him go......but maybe he wants a.p.
I'd be very suprised if AP isn't a cowboy by the end of next week. And don't be mad bro. You can still watch him score TD's and cheer him on. He stayed in the NFCE! hah

free agency sucks. and I am not saying that cuz of murray. ive hated it for yrs. players coming and going like this. this year alone is the biggest shuffle in free agency that ive ever seen. its bullshit. look at revis. with the jets then patriots for one yr and now back to the jets lol..wtf..there's no more loyalty. I thought demarco was loyal to the team. maybe if they got rid of the fuckin salary cap the loyalty that players used to have back in the day would return.

all that aside, the nitwit jerry could of fuckin paid for demarco if he really wanted to. McFadden is no good and I think he just insurance and a cheap gamble right now. I like Randle better than McFadden tho. I am hoping the nitwit either somehow gets a.p. or Melvin Gordon in the draft

Money will trump loyalty 9 out of 10 times. Your team worked DeMarco like a fricken mule. There's even a rumor out there that it was done deliberately because they knew they wouldn't be giving him the money he wanted this year. If that's even a little bit true they are owed nothing.

It bordered on mind blowing seeing the enemy standing inside the NovaCare Complex. hah

I see so many NFL players (and fans) saying they understand the NFL is a business. They don't, not really. If they truly did there wouldn't be so many pissed off people right now.

This year's free agency is interesting as hell, in large part due to guys like Kelly and Ryan. And near as I can tell, personal friendships are almost as important as the payout. AP is wanting to leave because of disrespect. Murray came to Philly because of Bradford as well as the payday. Johnson went to Indy for a shot at a ring, and has a better chance now than if he stayed in Houston. Kelly's got more ducks on his team than fucking Oregon State does this year. His guys.

Meanwhile, if anybody's noticed they seem to have half a dozen QB's in Philly, and there's no way they snag Murray without rewarding his boy Sam, which leaves Sanchez out in the cold. Think Ryan will make a play for him?

Thanks to free agency at least three teams buried in mediocrity became sudden possible contenders, two teams in Seattle and Indy just got even scarier good, and a couple of perennial almost-there teams just collapsed under the weight of their own spending. I wouldn't call that a waste, but your mileage may vary.

When I found out that he was going to sign with us I had some sympathy for you. We had briefly talked about the possibility when it was nothing more than a rumor on talk radio. I knew it was going to bother you if it actually happened. I like you, so in a friend way I had some sympathy. I don't view the Cowboys like so many other Eagles fans do. I'm not one of the haters. I save every drop of that for those filthy Giants fans.

Reggie Bush to the 'Niners.

Why didn't Detroit want him anymore?

Reggie always played well against my Vikings but I know he has a reputation of being fragile.

Too many missed games for the Lions' liking I'm guessing.

Thanks. I wondered. Every time I've heard his name it was always in regard to being productive. I don't know about much outside of my team, I do try to keep an eye on the others in my division but that's about it. Everything else I see is from a headline.

Lol. Madbro is mad, bro. Let's look at Revis indeed... in 2013, REVIS WAS TRADED TO THE BUCS. Yeah... real lack of loyalty on Revis' part. Putz. Then he goes to the Patriots... wins a Superbowl, and the Jets realize what a mistake shipping him out of town was, so they paid him what he's worth and he came back. Loyalty works both ways. If the team is willing to pay players what they're worth, they never get to FA. Cobb signed a team discount contract with GB. Plenty of players sign team-friendly extensions or restructuring to make the cap work. What Dallas did was insult Murray by offering him half of what he was worth, and he walked. That's what happens when the team has no loyalty.

The Salary Cap is essential to a fair league. It's what ensures no competitive advantage. If a halfway decent coach/GM combo took over the Raiders today, they could be a SB contender in 3 years. That's a good thing.

Sanchez got just enough money to keep him from walking, he's our backup, for better or worse.
