It's the pecker-nosed, pick-pocketing Proboscis.

He's out of reach, and he can't be stopped.

Ha! I'm sincerely trying to help Smiley_emoticons_smile

hah Do you wear yoga pants? Because I saw a woman running down the road in them and I asked the guy I was giving a ride to what he thought of me running around with them on and he almost jumped out of my truck. That is until I said I would wear underwear if I ever did.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Well now I feel like I owe the Proboscis and the Sloth an apology.

Thanks a lot, Maggot.

As intriguing as this was I'm hoping you can come up with a better secret question tomorrow.

You got me curious.

The red emu meat is similar in taste and texture to lean beef, but lower in cholesterol, fat, and calories. The tenderness and texture of emu meat enables it to be prepared in a variety of ways. It is best prepared lightly grilled or pan fried.

I've never eaten emu, but I'd give it a try.

(I do sometimes where yoga pants, always with underwear).

Terrible suggestion HoTD. Given that the Emu is a bird I would think it is a white meat. But I wouldn't eat such a beautiful creature. Some people here even eat kangaroo and crocodile. *shudders*

Nope. Emu is a rich red, gamey meat. Even slightly more gamier flavour than venison.

There is a deli that does a smoked emu fillet which is kind of like a prosciutto, but different. It goes really well in a salad.

Emus are troll birds aussie, and everybody knows it!!

Seriously though, I didn't suggest anything. I said Emu is a red meat bird and I'd give it a try.

I like chicken, and duck, and quail, and beef, and pork. And, if crash offered me a salad with Emu meat, I'd give it a taste and might like it too. Though if it's really gamey, I probably wouldn't savor it.

Anyway, I know the Aborigines and Europeans ate a lot of Emus and I think they're still farmed today. I don't consider them "beautiful" birds, but the speed at which they run and their inquistive/aggressive nature is kinda cool.
