There may be aliens, and it is kept from the general public for a reason. Who knows? I don't think so, but you never know.

I think there are aliens circling your arse looking for an opening.

You got worms.

If the death penalty is meant to be a deterrent (and I don't agree with that, I see it as revenge), it's not doing much deterring!

Nobody gets to see the body twitching and bouncing around as the drugs take effect. I think the guillotine may be a more compassionate way to administer the penalty although more gruesome its fast and with DNA being used the process may even be sped up. If a person takes the life of another through god awful means they should be put down.
Visually seeing the process may make people think before acting on an impulse.

Nope, surely it's better than 100 guilty men aren't executed than 1 innocent man is?

As DNA gets used more often it will become more precise. There are still people on death row that went to trial without DNA evidence. I agree that some may be innocent and that may be a stretch so yes I agree.
If a person has killed with intent they may only have one escape and that would be truth. Admit what you did and accept the consequence and meet your maker, some have and that takes courage no matter what they did. The others are cowards.

DNA is currently very precise. Not sure what you mean here Maggs?

I meant a more precise way to indicate guilt and or vet out the innocent.

Its true that there are a lot of people still on death row that got there with no DNA evidence. That doesn't mean that the case against them was weak. I think that if there is DNA material available that it should be tested against the convicted or accused. That doesn't mean mass wholesale re-trials though, unless the evidence says so

Now I actually wanted to comment here, saying that I absolutely don't find any sort of enjoyment or entertainment in being able to witness any sort of execution, no matter who it might be and even in those cases where I am fully for it, and yet all of a sudden I realize that I find myself utterly laughing away by watching some fucked up idiot from Daesh blowing their own brains out with an RPG or malfunctioning M60, or even during session in a suicide bomber training camp.

Totally hilarious!

Maggot inspired me -

Would you watch a channel dedicated to the executions of those who have been found guilty of horrific crimes?

Public executions are a necessary evil, however, I could never watch one, televised or otherwise.

I had a hard time watching "The Green Mile" Smiley_emoticons_slash

LOL, yea you have to think about that huh? I have talked to several people that think those vids on youtube or where are hilarious, but think executions are wrong or they wouldn't watch or whatever.
Its about perspective? Timing? Why is that?

I think it's more like some sort of Tom & Jerry slapstick effect. There you see those guys in videos cutting of heads or burning people in the most disgusting manner, and then picking up some weaponry in their usual ueber macho way, and boom, their head falls off or they just explode. Fucking hilarious!

I think even if you see one falling to his death from a high tower screaming his balls off, just as they did with quite a few people over there, it would actually make you lol real hard. Nothing to worry about really as I believe it just shows that you are a good person inside.

I wonder if some freaks of the world would find that inspiring.

Plenty. It's how Daesh manages to recruit a massive part of their people.

Mo! Man. It was great to see you in this thread. I've missed you, Mo. You're the most interesting person I've ever met online.

Now I'm thinking about the lost Yemen pix all over again and I want to wail.
