Not really. I'm perfectly content in my little house with my little bank account.

I got no hate for Brady, once people stop hating seeing his face every year in the post season he will be remembered as one of the greatest of all time and we will tell young people in years to come that we saw him play live. But I'm damn glad Denver pulled it together to finish Peyton's last ride with a trip across the superbowl finish line. Now the question is, can he pull off the SB victory. Odds are looking damn good from this angle.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

And so......time marches on. I think the panthers will take it and doubt the Pats could beat them this year. I would rather see Denver win even though I hate them.

I meant "sucks to be him" sarcastically, not anything directed actually at you.

Someone on NFL reddit asked what the hardest legal hit people had seen was. The top response was:

Then someone posted a closeup of his face:

And the following comment chain ensued:

I don't think there is a football fan alive who doesn't believe that Tom Brady is one of the greatest to ever play the game. If there is, they've got their head up their ass and are being a dick simply for the sake of being a dick. There is no denying his talent.

I saw him on the sidelines yesterday and he looked so annoyed, his mouth was running a mile a minute.

Everybody seems to be trying to find reasons to hate on Cam. The guy is fun to watch. I don't find his celebrations offensive and I certainly don't think there's anything wrong with the Panthers giving the footballs to the children. I guess if there was one thing I had to rag on him about it would be his cadence. 80eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... hah

Not me, I'm a big fan. If it wasn't for Peyton I'd be rootin' for Cam to win it all. I think he's a joy to watch and seeing his success this year and how he conducts himself has been fun. I don't have a problem with his attitude like so many others do.

The Eagles signed Zach to a 5 yr. extension this morning. When are they going to get busy with Fletcher and a couple of the others? I have concerns that we might not even have a QB.

Cam - I was hard on him when he came out of college, thought he was the next JaMarcus Russell (Who?). I didn't understand his personality. I thought his carefree attitude would keep him out of the film room and he'd flounder. He's just a goofball. He puts in the hours, just has fun doing it. I really like the guy. He works hard and plays hard, and he's one of the most tremendous athletes out there on the field. Do your thing Supaman.

My wife asked me who I was rooting for last night, and in my best Gavin's sister voice, I said, "I'm gonna root for Cam NEWTON!" We had a good chuckle.

I will be rooting for Cam as well. I'd like to see Payton go out on a high note, but I just don't see it happening this year.

I have a question, as a fan do all of you feel entitled to know what ownership does in the front office? I ask because I was doing a little reading and just about everyone from the fans to the beat writers feel like they should be kept up to date in regards to who is being hired, who is going to take care of this thing or that thing, who do people answer to, etc.

I don't hate your team, Maggottyboo. I think you're very lucky as a fan to always be able to count on a successful season. They win consistently, it's only a surprise when they lose. I want to have that experience before I die.

Before, they were the biggest losers in the NFL, dynasties always fall at some point though. The Drew Bledsoe days were rather bleak.

You talking about the smack talk coming out of Denver from Miller?

Vonn Miller: "the ball I intercepted from Brady felt a bit flat"... "I tried to put my nuts on his face" hah

Rumors floating that the Eagles and Cox are close to signing a deal.

But Cox is just the tip. Of the iceberg.

On the heels of Ertz and Celek contracts, the Eagles agreed to a 6 year extension with Lane Johnson. Backing up the money truck for young guys.

I hadn't heard that yet. Yay! I knew about Zack and Brent and was glad to see they are retaining Brent, he'll probably retire as an Eagle, eh?

Cutz, do you think Sam will be here next season?
